Hello Friends,   I am new in dot net. I am download SCVMM WCF code from microsof site and made some changes and build the solution "It is successfuly build" and Successfuly RUN and Give the output.   I got error when I browse the .svc file in browser. error message is below - Could not load file or assembly 'TraceWrapper, Version=1.0.523.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. We recently upgraded from .NET 1.1 to .NET 3.5. The project was running fine until yesterday when I tried to create a set up project. When I add a new Websetup project and rebuild solution I get error :  Error 79 Could not load file or assembly 'Compliance, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. Failed to grant minimum permission requests. Hi I have a clickonce deployed application in my machine. When I tried to load the application, 90% of the application window is getting loaded but finally, I get the following error: Could not load file or assembly '0 bytes loaded from System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. I have read somewhere that this error could be caused when something goes wrong with the .net framework in the machine. My machine is having .Net framework 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5. So which framework should I reinstall? The application is developed using .net 2.0. Also, please let me know how the application is partially loading(90%) if the framework is corrupted.? Regards Anoop.

dear my firends,

i convert website to the vs 2010  but with the same target Framework 2.0.

i have the (System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0) in my BIN folder.

when i build the website using vs 2010 and publish it to the production server which running only framework 2.

i get these error

"Could not load file or assembly 'System.Web.Extensions, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)".

 

when i back to vs2008 and build it again and publish to the production server it is working great.

the question is .

Why vs2010 try to refrence System.Web.Extensions, Version=4.0.0.0 when compile where is the dll in the BIN folder is "System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0"

Hello, I installed smartpart and I created a usercontrol, single one, and then I want to test the user control before using it in sharepoint, so I created a webpage and dragged the user control, when I press F5, I got this strange error never seen.

 

 

 Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Search, Version=12.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.

 

 

I commented the following web.config lines but that didn work

We migrated our SQL Server to a new Windows 2008 64-bit Server utilizing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 64-bit but we installed SSRS utilizing 32-bit.  Everything in the migration seemed to go well, I have green check-marks across the board in Reporting Services Configuration and the encryption keys restored nicely.  A portion of the error is listed below and thank you for any help:

 I created a website with AJAX using VS2005, installed the framework in the production server and the website is working fine.

 then I installed VS2008 + Service pack in my computer without uninstalling VS2005, then converted my project to VS2008, with no issues.

then I installed Framework3.5 in the production server without uninstalling Framework2.0. Tested the website and it's good except when I try to run a Crystal report it gave me this error :

Hi Experts,

I m trying to create an eventHandler using WSPBuilder. I have read many articles and created two different events (separate projs) but in both tries I m keep getting "Could not load..." error message. There is nothing fancy I did. Its like two lines of code but somehow its not working out.

Any suggestions on how to debug this will be appreciated!

I have Encountered with this problem when i am doing project for mobile application. I have installed sqlce.dev.ENU.ppc.wce5.armv4i.CAB,sqlce.repl.wce5.armv4i.CAB,sqlce.wce5.armv4i.CAB,NETCFv2.wm.armv4i.cab My Deployment Cab File NewBatchScanCab_Data.CAB with all this following cab's. This Cab is running in another Computer's also but it is prompting error message as below: File or Assembly Name 'System.Data.SqlServerCe,Version=3.5.0.0,Culture=neutral,PublicToken=3BE235DF1C8D2AD3',or one of its dependencies,was not found. I Wanna now why it is prompting this error message.
