Health Analyzer reports "Product / patch installation or server upgrade required." and I can't seem

The text of the error is: On server SHAREPOINTSERVER, once all required products and/or patches are installed, perform an upgrade by either running PSConfigUI.exe or by executing the command "PSConfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace b2b -force -cmd applicationcontent -install -cmd installfeatures". If a former upgrade attempt has failed, you may need to resolve upgrade specific issues before attempting upgrade again. Refer to the upgrade status page (http://sharepointserver:XXXX/_admin/UpgradeStatus.aspx) for information about current and prior upgrade attempts, and to determine issues that may be preventing upgrade from succeeding. For more information about this rule, see "http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=142700". So I went to the server in question and ran the command line quoted in the error message and then I get this error back: Configuration of SharePoint Products failed. Configuration must be performed before you use SharePoint Products. For further details, see the diagnostic log located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\1 4\LOGS\PSCDiagnostics_....log and the application event log. So fine, I look into the event log and get this: Failed to initiate the upgrade sequence. An exception of type System.IO.IOException was thrown. ·           I have been struggling with this issue for a few weeks, if anyone can help me resolve it, it would be so appreciated. I am currently running SharePoint 2010 Foundation on Windows Server 2008 R2.

I have been struggling with this issue for many days, if anyone can help me resolve it, it would be so appreciated. I am currently running SharePoint 2010 Foundation on Windows Server 2008 R2.

I had set-up a SharePoint foundation Extranet web portal on a single server configuration (one computer) and it was functioning just fine. I moved the server to another physical location to demo it, I connected it the same way I do at my home but at this location it was on a  different internet service provider. As soon as I connected the server thru the Ethernet port to to cable modem box I immediately got a "Health Analyzer error" in the SharePoint Central Administration Window and all my ports (port 80 and 8080) were blocked.

I returned back to my home and reconnected the server computer to my home modem in the same exact way I did before (when it was functioning) and the "Health Analyzer error" in the SharePoint Central Administration Window still is displayed and all the Extranet/internet ports (port 80 and 8080) are still blocked.

I checked on the server using the "IIS manager" and the sharepoint site still functions fine on the server. Problem is I cant access it anymore from the Extranet/internet due to the ports being blocked now.

SharePoint Health Analyzer Alert: Application Pool Memory Limit

  

I receive the below alert in the SharePoint Health Analyzer alerts. Looking at the application pools on my WFE (and my app server), nothing is configured to have a memory limit. I'm wondering if this is maybe a permission issue? My permissions appear to be the same as my other 2010 farm, which does not have this issue and the same setup steps were taken. I don't see any messages in the event log on either server that look to be related.

Has anyone else seen this and resolved it? Or do you have any other tips for things I can look into to resolve it? Thanks in advance.

Session with Crystal Reports on IE 8

Having a very wierd problem.  I have an application that uses Crystal Reports and it uses what I have found to be a common scenario (I am not a CR expert in any way).  I have an ASPX page that gathers options for the report, and then it goes and gets the data and if there is some, a button appears for them to launch the report.  On clicking that button, the code sets some values in the HttpResponse.Context area, then performs a Server.Transfer to another ASPX page that is our Report Template.  This page contains the CR stuff and it generates a PDF version of the report.  It then does the following code:

displaying dynamic added value in reports

I my application i have generated dynamic rows that contains some textbox values, i need to take those values and display in

reports. I am storing that dynamically added values in another table. please help me.


dynamically change column names in Crystal reports

  

I need to develop 3 pages.

On the first page user defines atmost 7 column names to be displayed on the report. I'm saving these names in a Sql DB table 'Columns' with Column_Nm and Column_ID as Table columns.

On the second page I'm retrieving column_Nm from the table and displaying them on the page so that the user enters the data. This data is saved in another table 'Summary' with the Columns column1 through column7.

on the 3rd page I need to show a report of 'Summary' table.

How do I dynamically replace column1 through column7 names with that of 'Column_Nm' on the report?

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

I need to ask for start date and endate.. when selected .. i should genarte a report using the existing stiored procedure and the connection string in my web config file..
