Need the old "Browser" access in the new SharePoint Integrated with SSRS

0 down vote favorite Does anyone know of a way to add or remove items from the "Actions" menu within a report on SharePoint 2010 Integrated with SSRS 2008 R2? I would like to remove "Open with Report Builder" and add "Subscribe" to the Actions menu. I'm working with my SharePoint Server Admin who is at a loss also. I have found how to remove Report Builder from the server but the Admin doesn't want to do that since I am not his only customer. The "Subscribe" option seems to be driven from permissions but I'm not able to get it to show up for my read-only viewers. It shows up for me but I'm not going to give them admin rights. Basically, what I want is the "Browser" role from Report Manager: "May view folders, reports and subscribe to reports." They couldn't open in Report Builder. It seems so basic. I just want people to view reports and if they'd like, subscribe to them. Thank you

After Installing SharePoint Foundation 2010, trying to open site gives 404 error in browser

I had this as reply on a thread about migrating from WSS 3.0 to SFS 2010. But I have completed all the steps with the modified documentation, but the browser delivers an error 404 when I try to open the site I created.  Same thing happens if I go at it via https, but first I get a certificate warning error (using the IP instead of the FQDN) and then being prompted for credentials.

I am completely stumped at what else to look at.  Any help in gathering information to get help is also appreciated.

Environment:  SBS 2008, SFS 2010, SQL Express 2008.  Rest of the IIS sites continue to function normally and I can get to the management site ok.  Although after the install, I had to go into application pool and change the service account from the domain admin (it defaulted to that) to networkservice account, otherwise I got a 503.  Same thing happened on the site I created until I changed the service account.  Now just a 404.

Sharepoint 2010: Browser compatible infopath forms are not open in web browser for editing

I created a browser enabled form with InfoPath 2010. I then published the form by selecting the option "Publish form to a SharePoint library" and then selected "Form library" and finally selected "Create a new form library". As a result, a new form library was created. When I click on "add document", the browser opens a new form, which I can fill and save successfully. However, after the form is saved, whenever I click on the form name in the form library to edit it, the browser "opens with" dialog box opens, asking for an XML editor software. In other words, the form does not open in browser for editing even on systems that do not have InfoPath installed.

The form is browser compatible and the form library is configured to open browser-enabled forms in browser. The issue is that the form hyperlink is directly pointing to form XML file rather than pointing to InfoPath form services URL.

I would really appreciate, if someone tells me how I can edit the form in browser.

Browser based InfoPath forms in Sharepoint error

I have a form that we built in InfoPath2010 and I am trying to publish it to SharePoint2010 using the "broswer-based" capability. The form works in preview mode in InfoPath, but when I publish it to SharePoint, I get the follwing error:

"You do not have permissions to access a database that contains data required for this form to function correctly.
An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server.

Log ID:5566

Correlation ID:9161ac7c-7b8f-4164-907a-14426c54b24f"
The form has two main data connections, both are tables in a sql database server. They display data from the tables, and the users are also able to input data into the database. The form right now is configured as "full" trust, as we have custom code in the form that will only work with that setting. I have also uploaded the two UDC connection to a data connection library in SharePoint, but no luck.
Here is part of the  the custom code in our form that may be causing issues:

Programmatically Mapping Custom SharePoint Column on Non-browser Enabled InfoPath Form

I have an InfoPath form, which, due to control requirements, is not browser enabled. It is being programmatically added as a content type to SharePoint (MOSS 2007). All users have Office 2007 installed so they will be able to open the form. I also have a custom multi-line column in the SharePoint document library. I can manually publish the form and map the column to a field of the form, but I need to be able to do this programmatically.

We are currently deploying the forms by modifying the publish url in the xsf during install. We have tried to modify the site coulmn GUID in the template xsf during install without success.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how we can programmatically promote the InfoPath field so it is visible in SharePoint?

I created a data view page using the datasource I created connecting to our sql 2005 database.  I can see all data displyed in sharepoint designer 2007.

But once I preview it or run it from sharepoint site after saving it, I got this error.  Can anybody give me some clue or tips on how to fix it?

Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web page in a Windows SharePoint Services-compatible HTML editor such as Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator.

Thanks a lot

Formatting problem with Email from an Browser Enabled InfoPath 2010 Form in SharePoint 2010

I'm creating a form in InfoPath 2010 to be filled out in the browser within our SharePoint 2010 instance. It's pretty simple, four columns with total table width of about 650 pixels, textboxes, checkboxes, datepicker and one multiselect list box. The form is working fine up to the point where I invoke a data connection which emails the form to myself. When it arrives in my inbox, the format of the form included in the body of the email is funky. When I open the email and set it to a full screen viewing window (1440X900) the area that takes up the form exceeds the width of my viewing window and requires scroll bars to see all the fields on the form.

When printing the form from my email the area is so large that no data will show up in the printable area (it appears to be centered on the form and it is cutting off the "extra content" to the left and right which contains the form data as the user entered it). I'm using Outlook 2007. I also forwarded the email to a person who's using Outlook 2010 and they experienced the same problems as myself.

Things I've tried to fix it: Setting each column width, setting each control width to a pixel length (instead of using %). I added some code behind to switch the view to a two column view with a table width of 400px before it sends out the email. It's closer to being at a state where it's

Unable to get AD profile information using InfoPath form in Sharepoint 2007 browser mode

I have followed the threads on this but haven't been able to resolve the issue with any of the suggestions provided.  I need to get the user's first and last name from their profile.  I created an InfoPath form using the "Get current user without writing code" blog directions I ran across here, using the standard userprofileservice.asmx service.  Everything works fine so long as I don't use the SharePoint browser option.  Then I get the error:

An error occurred accessing a data source.
An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server.

Log ID:5566

I have attacked this from every angle I can think of:

IE, Design checker - OK, SSP account, my account have AD read access, no problems getting to the site collection, as stated before, runs fine if I don't use the browser option

Converted the connection to a udcx stored in the same site as the form library - tried both converted and unconverted connection - same problem, removed the connection altogether, everything works fine (but, of course, no profile info), works under InfoPath using either connection

Set form with Domain trust

Published it to a form library, also tried admin approved with full trust and signed - same problem

Ran locally on SharePoint server and remotely - same problem

Changing the graphics on the home page of a SharePoint site

When you create a site in Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services by using the default Team Site template, the home page includes two default graphics. A Windows SharePoint Services graphic appears in the body of the page, and a picture of a house in a circle appears near the site title. You can change these graphics to customize your site. Changing the smaller graphic requires a Windows SharePoint Services compatible Web page editor
