Videos from My Past Presentations

Posted By: vblasberg     Posted Date: September 01, 2010    Points: 0   Category :ASP.Net
Shawn Weisfeld has recorded several presentations that I've been fortunate enough to present at various times.  Shawn also stalks other active community speakers with that camera of his.  Check out the complete list on the INETA Champs live site at http://www.inetachamps.com/Live.  That's more than enough video content to fill a Saturday night or skip the Monday night football. Here is a list of my presentations at http://www.inetachamps.com/Live/Presentation/Speaker/26   Nuts and Bolts in XAML Part 1 - 7/6/2010http://www.inetachamps.com/Live/Presentation/ViewVideo/110 Nuts and Bolts in XAML Part 2 - 8/3/2010http://www.inetachamps.com/Live/Presentation/ViewVideo/122 Working with Data in Silverlight - 6/18/2010http://www.inetachamps.com/Live/Presentation/ViewVideo/106 Understanding Databinding with XAML in WPF and Silverlight - 3-2-2010http://www.inetachamps.com/Live/Presentation/ViewVideo/36http://www.inetachamps.com/Live/Presentation/ViewVideo/37http://www.inetachamps.com/Live/Presentation/ViewVideo/38

Unit Testing SharePoint - Past, Present, and Sporm

As I described in SharePoint: The Wild West of Software Development there is a serious problem when you develop for SharePoint: ensuring quality through unit testing is really, really hard. And that's where a new open source tool just released today called sporm (SharePoint Object Relational Mapper) comes in. While sporm provides many benefits besides simplified unit testing I wanted to focus on this topic first, because sporm's approach, which models the entity framework in the way it supports POCO's, is a unique feature not available with other SharePoint tools like LINQ to SharePoint.

Free Series of SharePoint Workflow How-to Videos

This is the series of "How to" Document Workflow with SharePoint using Visual Studio 2008 (using the .NET Framework 3.0 for backward compatibility to Visual Studio 2005). I have created video's that show the most common requests that I have seen around MOSS/SharePoint 2007 workflow & document workflow.

Embeb a variable number of videos

I need to provide some alternate content for my non-Flash users.

I have a directory of video files that is scanned using the DirectoryInfo() function, and I want to use the results to embed all files ending in ".mov" in QuickTime players on a web form.

How would you approach this? Right now I am using the count on the array of videos to determine how many times to repeat the embed code.  But this seems inelegant.

Is there a way to have a single QuickTime player.ascx control that gets duplicated according to the number of videos available for display?

Gridview extends past edge of div and page when editing users

I have a gridview pulling all data from one user. This gridview has an edit button and when that is clicked the gridview becomes too wide for the div/screen and I get a scroll bar. Since this gridview can only have one user in it anyway is it possible to display each field on seperate lines instead?

Import Panasonic TM700 1080 60p Videos to Kdenlive on Mac

Import Panasonic TM700 1080 60p Videos to Kdenlive on Mac KDENLIVE is the free and open source video editor for Mac OS X, and there is related version for GNU/Linux. The non-linear editor does not only include video and audio effects, but also can export videos to DVD with chapters and simple menu. However, it does not import/recognize the 1080/60p .mts directly from Panasonic HDC-TM700. The 1080/60p 28Mbps .mts shot by TM700 camcorder is not AVCHD standard compliant, which makes it difficult for Mac users. Kdenlive edits all the formats supported by FFmpeg like QuickTime, AVI, WMV, MPEG, and Flash Video, but not the AVCHD videos, especially those from TM700. Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac is the recommend third party Mac Panasonic TM700 AVCHD converter, which supports TM700 1080/60p and 1080/50p videos, and converts the MTS files to HD videos like MOV, MP4, AVI, MPG, maintaining the 5.1-channel surround sound. Here is the simple step-by-step guide for you to convert Panasonic TM700 1080/60p and 1080/50p 28Mbps MTS videos to Kdenlive supported formats like MOV, AVI, and MPEG on Mac. Step 1. Load Panasonic HD videos to Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac. Transfer .mts files from Panasonic TM700 memory card to Apple hard drive disk when the camcorder is connected to iMac/MacBook Pro via USB cable. Run Aunsoft MTS/M2TS Converter for Mac as the super Mac Panasonic MTS

HttpWebRequest Form Authentication Not Getting Past Login Page

Newbie question about embedding videos, etc.

I know how to use the web part to insert a video which works just fine. What I don't know is how I can configure/design a page which I can display several videos with explanatory texts next to them, much like this page:  http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/en-us/Pages/Videos.aspx I know it's a total newbie question, but I guess I gotta start somewhere!
