I am using Sharepoint 2007 (MOSS).
I want to hide/remove "Alert Me" action menu item from Custom List/Document Library for my Sharepoint site.
any help will be appreciated.
Hello, I have a basic static menu using images for ui. I don't have the nav url set nor the value property set on any items. In this configuration the Item Click event is not firing. If I set the value propery to any value the event fires however the value is displayed in the UI. This is not the desired effect as I do not anything other than the images to show in the ui. The code follows:
<asp:Menu runat="server" ID="MainMenuCtl" BorderWidth="0" Orientation="Vertical">
<asp:MenuItem ImageUrl="~\App_Themes/SiteDefault/Images/Mediabutton.png" ToolTip="Media Clips" ></asp:MenuItem>
<asp:MenuItem ImageUrl="~\App_Themes/SiteDefault/Images/CalendarButton.png" ToolTip="View calendar of events"></asp:MenuItem>
<asp:MenuItem ImageUrl="~\App_Themes/SiteDefault/Images/PoetryButtonReg.png" ToolTip="Poetry"></asp:MenuItem>
I have created a feature to show a new item to menu which has View Item, Edit Item etc.... My requirement is, this custom menu item should be displayed for a particular custom list, but not to all. this is in MOSS 2007. please let me know how should i do that?
I'm using cssfriendly control adapter for menu. My asp.net menu control's datasource is a sitemap file I'm using which contains all the urls.
I have the following questions:
I want to apply a css class to the level 1 menu item (parent) when it or any or it's children are selected.
I've looked at MSDN documentation and any number of examples and walkthroughs but I haven't come up with a way of managing this. I was thinking something like this might work but the style is not being applied to the parent. To further complicate matters, if I try to apply a css style to StaticSelectedStyle it doesn't pick it up at all.
<StaticSelectedStyle Font-Bold="True" ForeColor="#3333CC" />
protected void MenuItemClick_NavMenu(Object sender, MenuEventArgs e)
MenuItem parentItem = e.Item.Parent;
if (parentItem != null)
parentItem.Selected = true;
