I am having an infopath form, from where i need to upload images to picture library .
how can i submit an infopath form to a SP library as well to the approvers email.
the email has to send to the manager's emailaddress that is automatically filled in the form.
i now how to submit to an email address but how can i use 1 submit button for both actions?
How can I display the ID of an InfoPath form after I have submitted it to my doc library in SharePoint. In other words I want to display the ID the next time I open the form (ie after the first save) as well as in the doc library in a view.
Want to know how to Get or Set the Version for the new/existing InfoPath Form 2007 in the SharePoint Form Library. Actually I am submitting InfoPath Form to SharePoint Form Libraries on the fly. Want to set the Version of new form to 1.0 and
then increment by 0.1 every time when the user edits and save the form back to the form library. When the existing form is opened for editing, I need to get the current latest version of that form in the form library.
It is very urgent. Any help or pointers for this requirement would be appreciated. If anyone of you have handled such scenario in your projects, please share the code snippet with me.
Thanks for your help in advance.
It would be great if anyone of you answer my question.I have an info path form built in 2007 and published it to share point as a document library. My requirement is i should not
allow two instance of the same Form to be opened at the same Time.I mean if you open a form from Share point and If you try to open the next one without closing the previous Form,it should give an alert to user saying that the "Form is already Opened".
I tried like having a Boolean variable which is by default false. If i try to open for the 1st time it should make it as true and for the next time if we refer to that variable and make an alert. But it dint work. Please let me know by anyway i can do this
task.Your help will be greatly appreciated!!!!
I have an infopath form that I published to a SharePoint Document Library. The fields in the infopath form pull from a Sharepoint list. When i create a new version of this form it pulls all the current data. And the columns in the document library reflect
the correct information and I save to the Doc Library.
I then edit the information in the SharePoint List. When I look back at the Document Library the columns associated with my form i just created remain the same(referencing the information from when the form was created) But when I open the form it re querys
the list and shows newly updated information. The columns seem to be static, but is there anyway to make the form static when it is saved? This way I can look at a form dated a week ago and see the info from last week, Open a new form and see the current info.
I have tried using columns I promoted where I have stored the username of the approvers and using the [Me] filter, I get a “Filter value is not a valid text string”. I created two more calculated columns in SharePoint making them equal to my InfoPath fields, and I still get the same error.
Can anyone tell me how I can set a filter so that these line managers can at all times see any forms that have required their approval?
Many thanks in advance.
I've read about Document Converters in Sharepoint, and using xslt and xml mapping.
What is the best way to convert InfoPath form with data in sharepoint form library (in xml format) to Excel format?
And how to do it?
