Insert image into Infopath form and save to SharePoint as PDF file

I have an InfoPath web-enabled form in MOSS 2007, that is integrated with a K2 blackpoint process for an approval workflow.

Once the form (a Purchase Order request form) has been approved in the K2 workflow process, I switch the form view to a "print-friendly" view for the requestor to view from the browser.  However, now I need to go one step further with this scenario:

1) I need to somehow insert/embed an image with the scanned-in signature of the approver (likely stored in a SP doc library) at the signature line section of my form.  Also, what are the security requirements for storing such images, but not granting all users access to these (e.g. only services accounts that need to access this for embedding into the form, etc.)?

2) Then I need to convert this final "print-friendly" view of the form (with the signature image) to a PDF document so that I can store it in SharePoint (and email it to the requestor using K2's email event capabilities).

Can anyone help me with a solution to both of these requirement, or point me to some resources for this (even 3rd party components are open-game).

Descompress BLOB data form SQL server into a file

Hello guys..... I have a question for developers in SQL Server. I need to migrate data from one table to another, i will use SSIS to do the job, i have no problem with this, but during the migration i need to read a column that contains BLOB data (documents .docx .xlsx .pdf etc) and generate and sownload the file in a folder directory. I need to implement this functionality into SQL entorn (SSIS package), do you know if exist any function in SQL that could do the job, or any extend functionality form .net that could be included or called from SQL SSIS in order to be executed? I will appreciate your support, thanks. PS

export data to pipe delimited file

I am trying to export the sql script data to pipe delimited text file.

I did below steps

1. JOined the sql tables and wrote the sql script.
2. export the results to glbal temp table.
3. then BCP the results to pipe delimited text file.

here is the select query

Select dbo.FN_Decrypt(@master, Login.LoginSkey,PatientDisplayID) as 'Client ID', ISNULL(SugarEntryCount,0) as 'BG Count',
    ISNULL(CarbsEntryCount,0) as 'Carb Count', ISNULL(MedsEntryCount,0) as 'Med Count'
FROM #temp_patients inner join Login ON  Login.LoginID = #temp_patients.PatientID

EXECUTE master.dbo.xp_cmdshell 'bcp "SELECT * FROM ##PIPE_REPORT " queryout C:\Data\Objects.txt -t"|" -c -T '

DROP TABLE #temp_patients

I have successfully exported data into pipe delimited text file. but only data not the columns names

I need columns names inthe first row, please let me know how can i do this?

and also I need special characters enclosed in quotes. And how can I describe each column data type in text file? I will be having alphabets and numerics in text file.

Thank you

server side does not save data when using POST data to another URL using WebRequest

 I am using a IIS 7.5 on Windows 7. I have a simple application that uses System.Net.WebRequest to POST data to another URL (in fact, the server side URL is on my local computer and it is hosted in IIS 7.5).

  1.  The problem is the server does not save data from client although on the client side codes when I debug and I see the OK message return from the code line

   response.StatusDescription; // this has value of "OK"
2. How can I debug the server code side where to receive the request from client side who posts the data ?

The following is the codes for client who posts data using System.Net.WebRequest, and codes for server side who received posted data to save to database.

Client side codes: // also run on my local computer

public string PostIntegrationXml(XmlDocument xmlSubmitDoc)

wss2.0 Infopath 2007 'This form requires connections to data sources when it is loaded. At least on

Hi all

I have a user who receives the error 'This form requires connections to data sources when it is loaded. At least one of these connections is not available. As specified by the form designer, this form will not open' when trying to Submit an infopath form located on a WSS2.0 site.

The user has been having this issue since upgrading to Office 2007 and IE7. I have had the user run an Office Diagnostics but this has not resolved the issue.

I am not aware of any other users experiencing this issue.

Any ideas please?

Error: Do you want to save this file, or find a program online to open it?

I am relatively new to MVC , i am getting the following error when i try to browse to a page in which i have used usercontrol and within the usercontrol i have a simple grid.

Error: Do you want to save this file, or find a program online to open it?

I am returning the data from the controller like this

 var jsonData = new
                    total = 1,
                    page = 1,
                    records = myRequests.Count,
                    rows = new[]{myRequests.ToArray()

how to automatically save new file into document library with a unique name or ID?

I've created a form using MS Word Document (2007) and lock it (protect it) so that users will be able to fill in the required fields.
then i've created a Content Type and uploaded the MS word form to be used as a template.

Then I've created a document library and enabled the content type and associate the above form for the library, so that when users click on New button the form will open.

everythings goes fine till here.

The problem is when users clicks on New and save the file back to the library, It doesn't save it with a unique name, instead it is over writting the existing one.
in other words, if employee 1 fill up the form and save it and later on employee 2 accessed the library and fill up a new form, he will overwrite what employee 1 has already saved!!

Is there a way to give every new created file a unique name? maybe (username+time)??

Got form Data... Now what?

I have an infopath form submitted to a form library that my users have been submitting data to.  This is working out just fine.

My problem is that I need to view the submitted data is a more readable format such as PDF or some other format.  In addition to this I need to create this type of format for archival purposes.

Has anyone any ideas on this subject or have any suloutions on how to accomplish this?

Thank you for your thoughts.
