If I try to upload a document (for example make a new document in word and try to save it to sharepint site) to Sharepoint Foudation site, then I get an upload error.

My colleague is using Sharepoint Designer with MOSS 2007. She made a folder in the site root and is putting pictures of employees there in order to show them in profiles. Suddenly, this morning, she can no longer do it. She can create new folders, rename
them, etc, but if she tries to upload any file anywhere via the Designer, a message will instantly pop up (as usual, message is in russian, with no error code...) complaining about "connection time out" or "connection lost" or something. Of course, since she
can still rename folders etc, the connection is just fine.
We tried iisreset and reboot of the pc running the designer but it didnt help. Still we cannot upload any file anymore.
More than that, previously she could upload files with going into a document library, then using an option to "open in explorer", then a windows explorer windows would pop up, showing the address of the sharepoint site folder in adress bar, like "http://sharepointsrv/sites/portal/Sharepoint/"
and allowing to copy files into it, and those files copied there would then appear on the server in the doc library. But now copying files this way also does nothing.
All we remember doing fro

I am working sith WSS 3.0.
I have one webapplication with one sitecollection.Later i wanted to provide it HTTPS URL, so i extended the WebApplication with option-Yes in SSl field.
And in the virtlay directory properties -> Directory Security -> Secure communications -> Edit
selected Required Secure Chanel.
Thats it. I didn't do anything in that.
Then because of some problems , i deleted the iis website of extended webapplication from central admin.
After that when ever i try to open the site, it shows service unavailable. And the application pool is getting disabled.
Please help me to get the site working.
Thanks in advance.
I have a desktop gadget which is working fine on Win7. I
need a help in adding the same desktop gadget in the SharePoint (2007) site. I went through different forums and came to know that the gadget can be added to the SharePoint site by using a Content Editor. But all of them focus on showing
how to add a Google Web gadget or other third party Web gadget.
First of all, is it possible to achieve this requirement?
If its possible, could you please explain (provide steps) me, how to add a desktop gadget in a SharePoint site.
Thanks in advance..
We currently installed the security patch MS10 - 046, and this made the sharepoint sites down..........anything that we need to make, so that Site will be up?
I have a a list that recieves email. I have few fields that shows me the originator: "E-Mail From" and "E-Mail Sender".
I am trying to create a workflow that will generate an auto reply to the originator but the SPD fails to recognize the email address in these two fields. It's either truncating part of it or uses the html ( href=mailto:Demo@DemoSomething.com) in
the To field.
I've used Sharepoint 2007 to create my website. Within my web pages I've included Forms in order to capture people's contact details, so that when they 'Submit' the form their details are emailed to my email account. The problem is that when I
go to Form Properties and insert the email address to which I want the data sent, I receive this message: "This form cannot be configured to send results via email. The web site may be based at a disk-based location, or a location that has not been configured
to send email. Contact your system admin or ISP for more info. Would you like to remove the email recipient Yes or No"
I am satisfied that the settings within the webhosting service are correct. Is this functionality available with Sharepoint 2007 or do I need to switch to alternative software.
