i have a chart report and deployed in server and created a subscription for sending email with webarchive type. I can see the chart in out look and it is perfect. when i see the same report in blackberry the fonts are not showing properly(blured).
I have tested via attachement as a pdf file then i can see the clear report in both outlook and blackberry but when make a mode as webarchive i getting the font problem in blackberry.
I am looking for the solution.
I did an inplace upgrade of SSRS 2005 to 2008 and now the reports are throwing the following error. The reports were all working fine and there is a datasource with the name 'Data Source Name' without the '_'. Please help.
We have installed SSRS 2008 R2 on 64 bit windows 2003 server, and the 64 bit oracle client to connect to oracle databases. The tnsping, and SQL plus are working from the server. But when we trying to access the same database from report manager
using new Datasource, we will get the below error.
"Attempt to load Oracle client libraries threw BadImageFormatException. This problem will occur when running in 64 bit mode with the 32 bit Oracle client components installed."
We have installed only the 64 bit oracle client, and the Oracle folders are given with proper permissions to access it for SQL serving account which is used to run SSRS.
Any help greatly apprciated. Thank you.
I have 2 SQL 2005 servers with separate SSRS installs. Using SSRS on Server 1, I am trying to save a report that I built using Report Builder. The report is being built from a report model on Server 2. When I try to save the report, I get
an error....Unable to bind datasource to report.
The data source may might not be accessible from the location where the report was saved.
The report was saved to "...folder/Report2".
The data source is "/Models/xxxxx".
You will no longer be able to run the report until this problem is fixed
The item '/Models/xxxxx' cannot be found. ---> The item '/Models/xxxxx' cannot be found..
Thoughts on how to get around this?
We have an SSRS 2005 report that we upgraded to 2008R2 with custom code in the report properties code tab that no longer works. We checked permission setting in the report server config files, checked if the data set was passig nulls and it is not,
looked to see if we ignored the error if the report would render the correct value anyway despite the error and it did not, tried different code variations and referencing different system libraries without luck....we are truly baffled. The only
thing that does work is setting the total to 0 and removing the loop through the jsColl to compute the total. Here is the code that used to work on 2005. Any ideas why it does not work on 2008R2? We call it in an expression
jsColl As Microsoft.VisualBasic.Collection
I have a report that uses a datetime field but gets populated only with the time. So, in SQL db, it gets stored with a default date value of 1899-12-30 12:01:01 with the correct time filled in. Report in SSRS Preview mode displays the value just fine when
I use the Time format in Layout mode. I build and deploy and able to view the report in a web browser with no problem displaying the time field. But when I subscribe to the report and choose Excel render format, when I open up the Excel file from the email that
was sent, I get negative decimal values. I have tried every possible Time format in SSRS but I get the same result. I also tried just the default and still gives me negative decimal values that show up as ####### in Excel.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The formatting of the report is perfect when viewed in Visual studio and also after exporting it to pdf or excel. But when I deployed my solution and opened it on IE/Firefox there is a lot of problem in formatting. Specifically the row height is giving me
a problem. I manually entered them to be 0.1in and made the CanGrow field as false to force that row height but some rows in the tablix expand ( to 0.15in, which is the height of my header). This is true for a matrix as well. Is there is a feature to lock
the row height in IE o any other web browser?
