How to align text to top position on Ribbon buttons?

Hello SharePoint Experts, I have a custom masterpage which is derived from v4.master and it uses the default SP Foundation 2010 Ribbon. As you all know,the default Ribbon buttons such as New Document,Upload Document,Alert Me,etc, have text at the bottom below the icons. Ribbon buttons such as CheckOut,CheckIn,etc have their text aligned to the right of the icons. My requirement is to have all the text on Ribbon groups and buttons aligned to the top such that the image is below the text.(By default it is the other way round). I tried manipulating the CMDUI.XML file located at 14\TEMPLATE\GLOBAL but no use. I also tried overriding the Ribbon CSS(from COREV4.CSS) but it was of no use as well. Does anyone have inputs on how to get this done? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.Regards, Gautam Kaikini, MCTS WSS 3.0 Application Development.

Full Text Justification from Right to Left (for Unicode text)

Hi experts :)

I'm working on an application involved Unicode Languages (Arabic, Urdu etc) which are written from Right to Left.

I'm using C# in VS 2010 and project is for .Net FW 3.0.

There is a RichTextBox control which has the property to set the direction of typing from Right to Left.

But I can't find a way to make the Text justified from Right to Left. :(

Any help/ideas would really be appreciated.

In a button's control template, how can I alter the color of a text block?

Using WPF 4, I'm trying to create a button style (that would preferably work in SL, as well) that alters the text color of any contained text when the button is mouseover'd. Since I'm trying to make this compatible with Silverlight, I'm using the visual state manager:

<Style TargetType="{x:Type Button}">
  <Setter Property="Template">
    <Setter.Value>
      <ControlTemplate TargetType="Button">
        <Border x:Name="outerBorder" CornerRadius="4" BorderThickness="1" BorderBrush="#FF757679">
          <VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups>
            <VisualStateGroup x:Name="CommonStates">
              <VisualState x:Name="Normal" />
              <VisualState x:Name="MouseOver">
                <Storyboard>
                  <ColorAnimation Duration="0" To="#FFFEFEFE"
                          Storyboard.TargetProperty="(TextElement.Foreground).(SolidColorBrush.Color)"
                          Storyboard.TargetName="contentPresenter"/>
                </Storyboard>
              </VisualState>
            </VisualStateGroup>
          </VisualStateManager.VisualStateGroups>
          <Grid>

How to write ListViewItem that contain image , text and button ?

I need to write some listViewItem  ( using WPF ) - that contain image, text and button.

I want to inherit from the simple listViewItem class and add to the listview item that contain the three items ( image, text, button ).

I don't understand how the listView control will arrange the 3 items ( image , text, button ) in the right order in the control - how to tell the listview control that the image is first, text is second and the button is the third ?

Align text in label and radiobuttonlist

I have an asp label and asp radiobuttonlist on the same line and need to get the text to align.  I understand the rbl renders as an html table.  The table appears to have spacing around the td elements, which pushes the text down.

Here's my code and CSS.  How can I get the text to align in a way that will work across browsers, text size and resolution settings?

.RadioButtonList
{
	font-size: 1.2em;
	line-height: 1.4em;
	vertical-align: top;
}

.Label
{
	font-size: 1.2em;
	line-height: 1.4em;
    border: solid 1px black;
}

.RadioButtonList td
{
    border: solid 1px black;
}

#tableadjusterContainer
{
    float: left;
    padding: 0em 0em 0 0.5em;
}

#tableadjusterContainer span
{
    float: left;
    border: solid 1px black;
}

        <div id="tableadjusterContainer">
            <asp:label ID="llbMissing" runat="server" Text="Show missing responses?" CssClass="Label"></asp:label>
            <span>
                <asp:RadioButtonList ID="rblMissing" runat="server" RepeatDirection="Horizontal" AutoPostBack="true" CssClass="RadioButtonList">
                    <asp:ListItem Value="N" Text

Disposing when hower AND CTRL is activated AND left mouse button is pressed ????

I want to let the user get rid of some designelements (PictureBoxes) on a form very fast.

This code can do it IF the user holds down the CTRL-key AND moves the mouse cursor over the designelements.

    private void signal_MouseHover(object sender, EventArgs e)
    {
      Cursor.Current = Cursors.Hand;
      if (commonThings.ctrlActivated)
      {
        ((PictureBox)sender).Dispose();
      }
    }

I have two problems witch I can't solve:

1) I want to secure wrong deleting of designelements by ALSO test that the LEFT-mouse key is pressed togather with CTRL (there is no "buttons" with the e !)

2) the Hover-event is a little delayed, so the deleting is in fact a little slow

How can this be done ?

SSRS text box action - Go to URL doesn't work with left indent

Hi,

May I know anyone manage to get 'Go to URL' work, together with values on left indent properties?

For example, I have following report interface, with hyperlink & left indent on each items:-

Country

      State

             Province

                      Branch

Everything works fine in BIDS - but the hyperlink not working properly when deployed and view in Reports Manager! According to http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlreportingservices/thread/b9d0cbf1-b278-40e8-8da4-6871d49661d9 post, both 'Go to URL' and left indent doesn't work at the same time. The hyperlinks work fine again when after removed the left indent.

Does this mean I can only use either 'Go to URL' or 'left indent', but NOT BOTH at the same time! Any workaround?

Many thanks :-)
