I am coming to you folks for some help on this issue that has been baffling me. Installing SQL Server 2008 R2 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 generates the same error every time (
"SQL Server 2008R2\Resouces\1033\Setup.rll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error tryinstalling the program again using the original installation media."
Then when I click on OK (From the error box)
I get the following message:
SQL Server MEdia does not support the language of the OS or doewn't have an ENU lcalized files. Use the matching language specific SQL.
I am using a full version of both Windows Server and SQL Server.
