Despite what I've written earlier about it is better to get a wireless router and using infrastructure mode, there are still situations where adhoc mode might be useful. Imagine visiting a friend who has a notebook with wireless connection. He also has internet connection, and you'd like to check your emails. But he needs to work on something with his notebook. Internet connection sharing using ad hoc mode would be useful here.

Hi,

I am planning ti develop a simple touchscreen application for a store with the sales item. I wish to use the SQL server 2005 as the database. But I am total newbie in developing a touchscreen application. C#, WPF is what I think would be suitable to make a good User Interface and coding.

I would really appreciate if anyone could help me with the basic starting tutorials(eBooks, links to  video tutorials) and where I can get the resources from.
