I'm currently trying to build a website for a rental company. And I'm a little bit confused on how the asp.net tables work. From what I've read data gets split into tables normalization etc etc. I've created two tables the first is
Customers the second is Shipping address. The asp.net membership has it's own email column in its membership table when you sign up it's stored in there.
So I made the customers table with an pkey uniqueidentity UserId I think I set the default binding to newid(). I give some columns/rows "customer first name varchar" "last name varchar" etc I've also created
a fkey called CustomersUsersFkey, which is related to the asp_Users users column. So I have it to where I can log in and I can view contact name first and last..No problem there with GUID. I then relate the customers.userId to the shipping
table FKey...The shipping table is somewhat alike the customers table it has a userId pkey and then it has address1 address2 fkey shipping. My questions are am I doing this right? I'd like to insert a new email address (membership table)
first name last name(customers table) address1 address2(shipping table) But I do not see anyway of doing this. Do I insert 3 tables all
