I'm getting an error when I try to asynchronoulsy run a method within a managed CLR trigger.
The method does some IO on the database (or may do, getting config info etc).
But the DB IO now fails because it seems that code running in a thread-pool thread is unable to access the DB.
Here is the exception seen in debug:
The requested operation requires a Sql Server execution thread. The current thread was started by user code or other non-Sql Server engine code.
Is there any kind of SQL server thread pool that one can use?
