No Data is returned by SiteData EnumerateFolder in Sharepoint 2010

Posted By:      Posted Date: May 22, 2011    Points: 0   Category :C#

I am doing coding in java to get all the files of a folder inclusing sub-folder, Can you please help me to know where i am doing wrong.

Documents/Check :- is the folder that has all the files.

But it is always returing NULL.

  SiteData SiteData = new SiteData();
  String sharePointSourceURL = "Documents/Check";
  Holder<Long> enumerateFolderResult = new Holder<Long>();
  Holder<ArrayOfSFPUrl> vUrls = new Holder<ArrayOfSFPUrl>();
  SiteData.getSiteDataSoap().enumerateFolder(sharePointSourceURL, enumerateFolderResult, vUrls);

  System.out.println(enumerateFolderResult.value);
  System.out.println(vUrls.value);
  if(null != vUrls.value){
   for(SFPUrl url : vUrls.value.getSFPUrl()){
    System.out.println(url.getUrl());
    System.out.println(url.getLastModified());
    System.out.println(url.isIsFolder());
   }
  }else{
   System.out.println("Folder is empty");
  }

No Data is returned by SiteData EnumerateFolder in Sharepoint 2010

Iam trying to read the folders from a Sharepoint Document library. This site is setup for windows NT authentication. Iam using a Winform application in VS2010. I have a fodler in the specified path and lot of other documents. But when I run the code method returns null.

    Dim oSite As FPSiteData.SiteData = New FPSiteData.SiteData
    Try
      Me.Cursor = Cursors.WaitCursor
      oSite.Url = ADMIN_SITE & "/_vti_bin/SiteData.asmx"

      oSite.Credentials = System.Net.CredentialCache.DefaultCredentials
      oSite.PreAuthenticate = True
      Dim enArray() As FPSiteData._sFPUrl = Nothing
      Dim out As String = ""
      Dim ret As Integer
      Dim sPath As String = "CG/IFR/Documents"
      ret = oSite.EnumerateFolder(sPath, enArray)
      If enArray Is Nothing Then
        MessageBox.Show("Cannot enumerate the folder")
      Else
        Dim en As FPSiteData._sFPUrl
        For Each en In enArray
          If Not en.IsFolder Then
            out += en.Url.ToString() + " :: " + en.LastModified.ToString() + ControlChars.Lf
          End If
        Next en

        Console.WriteLine(out)
        Console.ReadLine()
      End If

    Catch ex As Exception
      MessageBox.Show(ex.Message)
    Finally
      oSite.Dispose()
      Me.Cursor = Cursors.Default
    End Try
