I would like to know what wrong in my code to handle my NULL values.
Row.GroupSize and oGroupSize has a Double Datatypes. I want the value of GroupSize remains as NULL. But apparently, this code gives me numbers and not NULL.
If (Row.GroupSize_IsNull) Then
.oGroupSize = Convert.ToDouble(DBNull.Value)
.oGroupSize = Row.GroupSize
Hi,I just get a problem getting SPContext.Current in Custom membership Provider.
We have successfully plugin the custom membership into Sharepoint foundation 2010. We tried to programmically update the user's full name after user logs in and it failed in 2010 version. (good in 2007)
This is the simplified code. The class is a custom membership provider.Strangely, this only happens in 2010 version and never raised a problem in 2007.
public override bool ValidateUser(string username, string password)
bool isvalid = false;
if(username=="admin" && password="pwd")
isvalid = true;
var webContext = SPContext.Current.Web; //this returns null
catch (System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException exp)
Logger.WriteLog(exp.InnerException.ToString(), "wss login error");
Please Help. Thank you.

I have a problem. I don't know why custom edit form is behaving like that.
I have a choice drop down with values " ","Yes","No". For custom new form, I can insert null values and everything is working fine.
But coming to this custom edit form which I created. While editing, if we set a value to null and submit the form. It is getting the "Yes" as the value. It is skipping the null value and placing the "Yes" value. I have kept the default value for choice
drop down as " ".(null too).
I don't know why it is not showing null value. Do guys have any idea or if came across anything like this. Please help
