Moss high level visio view integration with SCOM 2007 is not working?

Moss high level visio view integration with SCOM 2007 is not working? It used to work and I know that I restarted my SCOM server and noticed that the high level visio view when clicking on a icon does not pull the information regarding the health state from SCOM.  I receive a authentication error-you do not have permission from my SCOM RMS server despite my being a SCOM admin.  Also when I click on a email alert from SCOM the link for additional information has the same authentication error.   I am new to MOSS so can someone let me know how to troubleshoot this issue??

Applying custom CSS to the MOSS 2007 Calendar control Month view

I have a requirement to use the MOSS 2007 Calendar Control - month view is to apply a custom css to have a look and feel as per our requirements.

We tried applying the custom css to the MOSS 2007 calendar control - month view, it does take the custom css and applies it, but when i click on any date and come back to the calendar control, it changes the CSS of the MOSS calendar control back to the default one.

Let me know if anyone has any suggestion on  how to customize the calendar control for css for our intranet application.

Your response would be highly appreciated.

Hey guys, I have 2 servers  in seperate domain one for database and other for moss 2007. SERVER 1 :     AD,DNS,SMTP,SQL SERVER 2005 sp3 .... SERVER 2:    MOSS 2007 APPLICATION SERVER with sp2 and october cumilative updates applied. i have even installed NDP20-KB913384-X86.exe hot fix for .net framework 2.0 access voilation error. In CA my server 2 version is When i installed sql server 2005 on server 1 during installtion for report server i choosed install but do not configure. Now I decided to integrate the sql server report services into sharepoint and did some research and found some articles on msdn which says in order to integrate the report services into sharepoint i need to have a minimal install of moss 2007 on server hosting report services (correct me if i am wrong). since i have only 2 servers i decided to install the minimal installation of moss 2007 on my server 1 ( Web front end only ). Here are the steps i followed for it Installed .NET framework 3.0 Installed moss 2007 sp2 Installed october cumuilative update for wss then same for moss 2007. Installed .net framework 2.0 NDP20-KB913384-X86.exe hot fix. and then ran the psconfig from command line as psconfig -cmd configdb -connect -server <SQLServerName> -database SharePoint_Config_ <dbname> -user <domainusername> -password <passw

MOSS 2007 Calculate Due Date including working hours and working days

Hi, I've searched many forums for an answer to my problem but with very limited success. Basically, I've created a Sharepoint list where I would like to track a resolution of incidents versus SLA timings. I have a column with a receiving date, which is a date when the request was submitted and another column with priority code where I have 3 possible values: low (5 working days to close the request), medium (3 days) and high (1 day). What I would like to do is to automatically calculate due date for solving the incident based on the receiving date and the priority code. The thing is that now it is getting more complicated since I need to exclude saturdays and sundays from calculation, as well as national holidays. Then I would like to take into account working hours (from 8am to 4pm), for example if an incident with medium priority was submitted on Friday 5pm, then it would have its due date set to Wednesday 4pm (the request was sent after working hours so we have 3 full working days to complete it) Not sure if it is feasible to achieve using formulas, maybe some other way?

MOSS 2007 - This Site and This List Scopes Not Working

I am using the production version of MOSS 2007 Enterprise.  Selecting the search scope "This Site" or "This List" and specifying information that demonstrably exists in either of these scopes does not appear in the search results.  Indeed, searches in these scopes always return nothing.

"All Sites" searches appear to work nicely.

Any thoughts on how to correct this problem?

Explorer View within Sharepoint 2007/IE7 stops working when activating an Office 2010 install.

Has anyone else experience this issue:

Office 2010 is installed on a machine with IE7 running on it.

Explorer view within Sharepoint 2007 and IE7 works fine

Office 2010 requires a product key change from a temporary key from the initial install to a permenant key.

The permenant key is installed and suddenly Explorer view within Shrepoint stops working?

Can WebDAV Explorer view be enabled for a MOSS 2007 Site on Port 443 (SSL)?

Issue:  When accessing the Explorer view in SharePoint 2007 libraries, the FPRPC protocol (instead of WebDAV) is used.  Users want to perform certain functions in Explorer View (like send-to compressed folder) that are not available or do not work in their FPRPC view.

Background:  The site is on port 443 (SSL), users accessing the site have Windows XP and IE 8.

I understand from the white paper http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=c523ac7a-5724-48be-b973-641e805588f4 that if a site is hosted on a port other than 80, the Explorer View will be forced to use FPRPC.  The white paper also states "there is no workaround for this behavior".

However, when I access the site using Windows 7 Enterprise and IE 8, the WebDAV protocol is used and all of the functions work.

  • Is there a workaround that can force Windows XP to use WebDAV on an SSL site?
  • Or is Windows 7 Enterprise required to force WebDAV?

I have searched the fo

Client Integration feature not working in MOSS 2010

We have installed Moss 2010 and integrated with ADFS 2.0 and CA SiteMinder. We have created a new website and enabled Client integration feature in MOSS 2010. But, the client integration feature doesnt work in MOSS 2010. We can successfully authenticate each IdP and can login to website. However, when we access any document from sharepoint, it asks for user authentication second time. Previously, we had configured the website same way but we were not getting the issue. But, now we are getting this issue when we access any document from sharepoint.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

MOSS 2007 email integration question (Not with Exchange)

Does anyone have any experience with integrating MOSS 2007 with the business/government edition of Gmail?  Is there any documentation/blogs/anything out there?  I've googled but not been able to find anything (yes, it's highly possible I'm just not using the right search string) really.

MOSS 2007
Server 2003 R2 Enterprise
SQL 2005 SP3 (separate)

Currently we have exchange set up to handle everything but will be going to Gmail in the next few months (not my choice, not my decision).  I have no idea how/if this is going to work with SharePoint.

Any information or pointers to info would be much appreciated.
