i. User enter search text in first textbox of repeating table.

ii. After text enter you will Enter or click tab button.

iii. As user press Tab /Enter, the other textboxes of repeating table will populate with data automatically.

iv. If searched data rows are more then one, then dynamically add new row's in repeating table and  show searched data.

I am working at offical assignment and it's deadline is very tough. i had made extensive search at google and msdn forum but unable to accomplish. I would appreciate and thanks is some provide me solution in form to a small infopath application and code snippet.

Connecting a Sharepoint Custom list with an external Data-source

Hi I am planning to connect a Sharepoint Custom list with an external Data-source. External DB will be in Access 2007 format. More Information: I need a solution that we can connect our sharepoint list (one-way) to online db in a way that new  information is directly updated in the sharepoint list, whilst other info changed in sharepoint list  is not synced back to original value. Is there a way to solve this? -saumil

Excel External Table Data can only create new SharePoint List when Exporting from Excel?

I have a SQL Query that I refresh everyday in Excel. I want to be able to export this list over to a SharePoint list right after my refresh in Excel but I can only Export to a SharePoint list only once. If I try to export again to the same list then it will give me the error "The specified list name is already in use on this server. You must rename the list before publishing it to the server." I have web parts that have connections to this list and I do not want to export my Query to a new SharePoint list everyday. Does anyone know a way around this issue?

Sharepoint list as Report Data Source

My current environment is Sharepoint 2007 with SSRS 2008 in Sharepoint Integrated Mode. SSRS 2008 uses trusted authentication to communicate to Sharepoint 2007. Sharepoint 2007 is configured to use NTLM authentication (configured with a domain account). My settings within Central Admin are Authentication Type: Windows IIS authentication settings: Integrated windows authentication with NTLM. My question is: Do I need to configure Sharepoint to use kerberos to use Sharepoint Lists as a Report Data Source?

In Report Builder, there is data source type called Microsoft SharePoint List .

Can anybody please confirm whether this option will work with SSRS in Express Edition? I did not get information from above link.

Accessing Oracle Table data and updating using SharePoint 2010 List

We are trying to access Oracle database table through SharePoint 2010 List. The functionality required is, the user should be able to read the data from the Oracle table in to the SharePoint 2010 List and should also be allowed to update the list and in turn the data should be updated back in to the oracle table.

Over and above any changes made to the oracle table by users, should be updated in the sharepoint 2010 list. Which means the users require a two synchronisation from SharePoint 2010 List to Oracle table and vice versa.

let us know if anyone has worked on this before.

InfoPath Repeating Table submit to SharePoint List

I have an infopath form that I've created for expensed that has 2 repating tables that I've added custom code with CAML XML receive data connections and UpdateListItems Submit connections to allow for the data to be submitted to 2 custom lists but the data isn't appearing and I'm not getting any errors. The code is linked to the submit button and the form was succesfully published and deployed to my MOSS 2007 server and the form submits all of the non-repeating tabke data to the main data connection (a sharepoint library) but the other data doesn't get entered into the custom tables.

Is there some way to trace the InfoPath functionality to ensure that the code is being executed, and if so, to diagnose any issues?

I used the method provided here in order to Submit repeating tables to s SharePoint list:

The reason I need the data is to generate reports using the rows in the repeating forms, maybe there's a better way to traverse the list without having to use extra tables but I don't know of one. If there is I would appreciate any help in being pointed in the right direction.

How to create scrolling table for columns in a SharePoint Designer Data View

I have a fairly complex SharePoint Designer 2007 Data View they have added two more requirements.

1. Have the columns on the right side be able to scroll left to right as there is a large number of columns, while the first 3 columns on the left side stay locked in place.  This is only one list not two, and because of some other requirements I have it must remain to be just one list.

2. Then they also need to have scrolling up and down of the entire list with the headers locked in place.

The first requirement is more important than the second, but preferrably I need to do both.

I am new to XSL so not familar with the syntax. Is this something I can do on a custom Data View? Does anyone have any examples of how?

I have a drawing that show how it needs to look but I don't see an option here to upload a graphic.

So here is a link to my graphic example uploaded to my blog area: http://lindachapman.blogspot.com/  or just the image here: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_aB01ue__NvQ/TGL42MOvrGI/AAAAAAAAAA4/c3xP4uCy4BU/s1600/Scrolling.png

I failed to mention that 3/4 of the columns are HTML Calculated fields wh
