I've been given the task of trying to make an event registration form in Infopath and link it to my company's SharePoint. I'm still rather new to both. I need to email 80 event attendees, gather their flight information and a few other bits of data, and
link it to our SharePoint so we can query the data at a later time. I have read about emailing Infopath forms, however, it seems that this requires the other party to have Infopath installed. My company does not allow anonymous users to access our SharePoint
so I can't really create the form on our SharePoint and email the link.
I don't want to believe that these are the only methods of solving my problem. Can anyone assist in helping me figure out how to gather info from 80+ people (most are not very computer literate) and link it to our SharePoint? I have enabled our sharepoint
library to accept incoming e-mails as well.
