I need your point of view about this and please advise,
My client have made a request to generate Ageing Report thru their SharePoint 2007, FYI all invoice was scan and upload to sharepoint and save as PDF file under Document Library. During the scan, certain information will capture automatically
and save it into field that we defined inside the Web Form.
Below is the basic input we capture:
Vendor Code, Vendor Name, Invoice Number, Invoice Date, Currency, Invoice Amount
Report Requirement (display list and group of:)
- Vendor Code, Vendor Name, No. Of Invoice, Total Payable, Ageing 0-30, Ageing 30-60, Ageing 60-90, Ageing>90
So my question is, what is the best platform to create this Ageing Report??
because when i try to design the report thru Visual Studio (Reporting Services), i can't identified which database should i connect and which table is store all the invoice information in SharePoint.
Any idea guys?? anybody have implemented it before??
i want to create sharepoint 2007 workflow with E-mail notificationin sharepoint Designer .
my Workflow Scenario is :
Step-1 employer send document for approval to manager .
step-2 When manager will approve or reject . status will send to the emloyer through mail.
step-3 when manager will approve than document is going for approval by main manager.
step-4 if approve or reject status will send it to employer and manager.
plz help me .. for this. how i create in sharepoint designer . plz send me any exmaple of this.
I dont need this form to be embedded into Sharepoint. I am adding this webpage into Sharepoint because i has issues due to cross-domain permission. I cannot call refresh sharepoint from my op up window webpage. Therefore i want to add my webpage into
the same domain as sharepoint.
I have added the webpage aspx form into Sharepoint from the sharepoint designer 2007. I would like to add code behind the page too.
What i have done at the moment was to create a project in visual studio for the code behind the page. I folloed this article :
Then i have added the dll intothe bin of my sharepoint site. i have also added in webconfig the dll.
However i got the following error :

Everything was working great until the last few days when I made the SP site more robust. I am now ready to create a custom New Form so that my "requestor" doesn't have to deal with all of the fields. I want to create a custom Edit List so that I can hide
all of the flags that get tripped while completing workflows. This morning I tried to create the NewForm (as I have done in the past) but nothing loads. I tried creating it with a different list, and it loaded fine so I know it has something to do with my
list. I tried executing workflows so that I might be able to narrow down the problem, but now no workflows work even though they did a couple of days ago.
One of the items added as a "pause until" workflow. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I also have roughly 85 fields. I haven't seen anywhere on the blogs that the number of fields is an issue but you never know.
Can anyone help? Please?
I am trying to create a custom workflow to send an email based on certain criteria. I would like the subject of the email to be [Item Title]+"has been modified", or something like that. I can choose the field in the Function, but I can't
add any wording before or after the field name. I also tried to use every syntax I can think of in the subject line to create it, but all I get is my code I entered not want I wanted to see.
Can this be done?
Does anyone know how to schedule blog posts to run at different times? I run an online newsletter and would like to set up a months worth of stories ahead of time. I can't find the answer anywhere!
I'm new at creating workflows and have only created a very basic one. I was handed a task and creating the following workflow and I have no ideal on what to do.
Here is what they want to happen.
The user submitts the form and depending on what he chooses in the Segement Report Access field will determine on who it goes too. The user can choose multiple options. The options are our 4 divisons. Each division has one approver assigned to it.
We created a list for this and then in the form it's a look up value.
The user choose two of the four options. (Sheet and Color) So the workflow needs to send and e-mail to the Sheet user to approve the request and it needs to send another e-mail to the Color user to approve the request. Now if they both reject it, the workflow
would stop and send a message to the user saying your request has been rejected. But if one user approves it and the other one rejects it, it needs to go to the next step, which would be sending an e-mail to the user who sets up the account. They want him
to be able to see which parts were approved and which parts were not approved.
Once he's setup then we need to send an e-mail to the requester saying that it's been approved.
Sorry if they is long, I just have no ideal where to start or how to start this.
I have an issue with Workflow Creation Wizard. Whenever i choose Workflow for Approval (Bulit-In Approval Workflow) and fill the details like Name of Workflow, Task List, Start Option etc.. and Click Next, It gives me an error message like...
InfoPath Form Error
There has been an error while loading the form
Click Try Again to attempt to load the form again.
If this error persists, contact the support team for the web site.
Now, because of that i can't be continue with Approval Workflow. I can create other workflow but not this.
My Server has Sharepoint 2007 Installed. and My System (From Where i am creating workflow) has installed Infopath 2007.
So, Request to all of you who has any idea about this issue Please let me know the steps to resolved.
