Helllo...I am getting error "Report parameter values must be specified before the report can be displayed. Choose parameter values in the parameters area and click the Apply button." when I deploy the report in the SharePoint. The report works fine in the
when I run in BIDS. we have two parameter in this report...Parameter #1 is tied filterd based on the user who is accessing the report and Parameter #2 is dependent on the value selected in Parameter #1.
Please let me know what I am doing wrong here? Is there any workaround to get past this message?
Thanks for help.
I have a pretty basic SSRS report that has a table header, body (with a table), and table footer.ÃÂ When I view the report in normal layout, all is well.ÃÂ However, when I switch to print layout only the table header and table footer are displayed on the first page.ÃÂ I don't see any of my table data until page two.ÃÂ So, this is adding an additional page to the beginning of the report and it's make a 17 page report 18 pages.ÃÂ And because I am including the page numbers on the report, this is noticeable to the users of the report obviously.ÃÂ Any feedback on things I could do or check to remove this blank page would be greatly appreciated.ÃÂ
IÃÂ have a problem using Report Viewer With SQL Reporting Services 2005.
I had a really weird issue with a ReportViewer.ÃÂ It would show the little green Loading progress bar image . but it wouldn't show any data, just a white background where the output should be.ÃÂ I knew the data was there because exporting to Excel or PDF showed the data just fine.ÃÂ
ÃÂ The problem is report toolbar is display but NO DATA is displayed and the report comes out as EMPTYÃÂ .
Thanks in advance..
Can you please help me out in resolving this problem.
I have a famous barcode issue while rendering a report in PDF: the barcode is badly displayed... To display the barcode on the report I'm using the "Code128" font and this font is of course installed on both server and client sides.
While displaying the report, the barcode is fine, while extracting the report under Excel, the barcode is fine too, while exporting the repot in an Image, the barcode is fine too... but while exporting the report in PDF the barcode is wrong... I've tried
manually or by programing using the render function... in both case the barcode is bad. I've also tried to play with the font size without any good result...
Also I saw that the PDF file created is in version 1.3 while today exists the version 1.5 (ie: Office 2007 is using PDF 1.5). Is it plan to update the PDF rendering in report viewer from 1.3 to 1.5? Maybe it could fix this issue...
Note: I'm running SQL Server 2008 R2 64b build 10.50.1600.1, Report Viewer 9.0.30729 under MS Windows 2003 Server 64b.
Someone have a solution to this issue?
Thank you for any help,
New to SSRS 2005 and having some problems printing. I have a report that has only 7 columns and while in layout mode, the body of the report only has a width of not even 7 inches. I have made my left margin 0.2 in, RM at 0 in, TM at 0 in and BM at 0 in as
well and yet when I print, I get an additional blank page. All my records print in the first page just fine but I get the additional blank page. This also happens to me on a different report when I change the settings for landscape printing. I am
able to fit all the columns in one page using landscape but get an additional blank page for every page that is printed. So instead of printing just two pages of records, I get 2 additional blank pages.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I created a report with multiy pages and in between every page of data is a blank page. If the Report is Sixteen pages longÃÂ i get eight blank pages. The Body size of the report is 8.5in, 25.475in. The Report porperities or 8.5 x 11in. Each page hasÃÂ a table with a page break at startÃÂ set to true. But I still get blank pages in between the report.
I am developing a report with almost 25 columns table and the width of the report is 20pt. But I am changing the visibility of a few columns in run-time so that the resultant width will fit in one page (11pt)(I checked all the margins and resultant width of table. Sum of all the widths are with in the pagesize only). Everything is working fine when i check the report in browser, but when i try to Export to PDF there are alternate white pages, which are corresponding to the hidden columns width i guess.
How to achieve PDF Export without white pages? Also, is there any way to shrink the report to a single page?
I am using SSRS 2005
I have created some reports in SSRS 2008 and after that deployed it successfully to RM. But when I log in through Repor manager URL, no content is displayed over there on Home page even if it showed report deployed successfully from VS.
To me it seems dont have sufficient privileges even if i am admin on my machine. Any idea?
I have a drilldown matrix report with 5 parameters that I group on. The users have the option of selecting any of these parameters
when they preview the report. They can also select No grouping as one of the parameter option.
When I run the report and select for example, 4 parameters and the No grouping option, I get blank columns.
When I select no grouping, no data is displayed.
As a result, I get blank columns. Is there a way to hide the blank columns?
I would appreciate any suggestions. See table example below:
Alternating row background for first column of a report is there a way to make the first column of a report use the an alternating background color? I have the background color set for the entire row however it does not work for the first column if the color is set to an expression. If I just set it to a color i.e. red it works just fine. If I insert a dummy column to the left it works just fine (but the dummy column does not work, presumably because it is first??).In the file below only the textbox for part number does not show an alternating background. All others work correctly.<TableRows> <TableRow> <TableCells> <TableCell> <ReportItems> <Textbox Name="PartNumber"> <rd:DefaultName>PartNumber</rd:DefaultName>

I downloaded report viewer 2010 from here
Now I want to actually use it in a website. How do I do that? Do I have to modify some part of web.config? Specifically, what do I need to change?
I have a button "Show Report" to show some data from table
what I should write under this button to populate the reports ?
Error:The report server is not responding. Verify that the report server is running and can be accessed from this computer.
