i am new to asp.net. i only know how to use it only implemented 3 tier architecture but my senior and colleague was telling me great architectures in java like Struts, Tiles and java Server Faces. why these architectures are not in asp.net and asp.net relies on MVC architecture which is the oldest i believe. Strut is mature and everyone knows it and there are jobs specifically to struts but in Asp.Net this is not the case. why is that? or Asp.Net is not good for Enterprise applications because almost every banking applications are made in Java and servers are Linux for security.
is Asp.Net built for handling Enterprise level projects because PHP we all know Facebook is running on PHP but i do not know major sites using Asp.Net.
I apologize in advance if my question does not look humble or offended.
