Here is the question. I have seen a website architecture where the content for a page is coming from custom XML files that are in App_Data folder. I can see in the Default.aspx.cs code behind XMLreaders are used to read XML elements and adding controls and images to that pages. XmlReader methods like ReadToFollowing(), ReadToNextSibling(),ReadElementContentAsString() are used in the codebehind to acces the elements. In the individual Code behind pages for example ContacUs.aspx.cs an object that is inherited from MasterPage is created and methods defined in that class are used to render page contents. What kind of architecture is this? I haven't come accross this? Please shed some light on this if you have come accross anything like this. This looks like RSS but it is not completely RSS with my basic understanding of RSS.
