I am using Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition SP1. I have created a Dynamic Data application for basic CRUD operations on some extremely simple admin tables (each table has 3 columns: ID, Code, and Description) with no foreign keys. I get this error whenever I click on either the "Insert" or "Cancel" links on the insert.aspx page or on the "Update" or "Cancel" links on the edit.aspx page for any of these tables or if I click on a "Delete" link on the List.aspx page and then confirm the delete. The "Details" link on the List.aspx page works fine.
If I debug the error, it appears in a code block that starts with "Sys.Net.XMLHttpExecutor = function Sys$Net$XMLHttpExecutor()" in a ScriptResource.axd file.
When I created the DataClasses.dbml, I dragged the tables onto the left design surface (create classes) and they appear in the diagram (step 8 of the "To create the data model using LINQ to SQL" section of the walkthrough at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc488469.aspx).
