Posted By:      Posted Date: May 22, 2011    Points: 0   Category :ASP.Net

I hope i make sense this, i have a repeater and on click of a button, the corresponding div should open up, I can do this when it is hardcoded however since its a repeater there will be different IDs. Here is my repeater;

<asp:Repeater ID="rptProfileStatus" OnItemDataBound="rptProfileStatus_OnItemDataBound"
    runat="server">
    <ItemTemplate>
        <li class="bar1">
            <a name="jh"></a>
            <div align="left" class="post_box">
                <div class="itembottom">
                    <span class="date">
                        <asp:Label ID="lblDate" Font-Underline="false"
                             ForeColor="white" runat="server"></asp:Label>
                    </span>
                    <span class='feed_link'>
                        <a href="#" runat="server" class="comment" id="ahrefReply"></a>
                    </span>
                    <span class="commentsno">
                        <a href="#" class="commentsnr" id="2">2 comments</a>
                    </span>
                </div>
                <span class="delete_button">
                    <a href="#" id="A2" class="delete_update"></a>
                </span>

Use jQuery and ASP.NET AJAX to build a client side Repeater

By sending only data to the client, you can profoundly reduce the size of what you send and see a substantial increase in performance. You also allow yourself the ability to easily add features like light-weight sorting and paging on the client. This can not only improve your users' experience, but reduce server load and bandwidth requirements.

To that end, I'm going to walk you through these four steps to effectively implementing a client side Repeater, using ASP.NET AJAX and jQuery:

ASP.NET Repeater Combined with jQuery FAQ Plugin Demo

The plugin is really straight forward. You just have to add your FAQ items in a header element such as an h2 and content sections in spans. This could be done in a pure HTML page or the FAQ items and content could be pulled from a database or XML file like I did in the download. Once the markup is built, the plugin does the rest. It will hide the content sections, add click events to the headers to open and close the content sections, toggle the plus/minus symbols and build the index shown on the right if you want.

Use Jquery with repeater, gridview, datagrid

Before we talk about jquery inside any itemtemplate (repeater, gridview, datagrid), we need to understand the basic use of jquery functions

Repeater and Gridview with select button

Hello every oneI have the following issue:I have a repeater that iterates over a datasource, and each detail of the datasource has a type of control or entry method, I have an enum to represent the type of controlenum ENTRY_METHOD : byte { SINGLE_SELECT = 1, MULTIPLE_SELECT = 2, OPEN_TEXT = 3, FLEXI_SELECT = 4 }And I have this in the repeater's ItemCreated event: switch (EntryMethod) { case ENTRY_METHOD.SINGLE_SELECT: break; case ENTRY_METHOD.MULTIPLE_SELECT: break; case ENTRY_METHOD.OPEN_TEXT: break; case ENTRY_METHOD.FLEXI_SELECT: break; default: break; }This is the aspx file:<asp:Repeater ID="RptUserDefinedInfo" runat="server" OnItemCreated="RptUserDefinedInfo_ItemCreated"> <ItemTemplate> <div style="width: 30%; display: inline-block; vertical-align: top; margin: 10px;"> <asp:HiddenField ID="HddUDTypeID" runat="server" Value='<%#Eval("UDTypeID") %>' /> <asp:HiddenField ID="HddEntryMethod" runat="server&q

jQuery Rating Control in Repeater - Not Duplicating per Record

Hi Everyone,There is a similar instance of this @ http://forums.asp.net/p/1380776/2919093.aspx#2919093 However I haven't had a response, maybe due to the age of the topic, but the problem is different in the sense I am not using AJAX Rating Control, I am using radio buttons contained in a Div named Ratings, which is picked up by jQuery to style to radio buttons accordingly. The output is that it will put the stars on the first record but anything after just shows origional unstyled radio buttons. Just thinking off the top of my head, but does anything need to be put in the ItemDataBound event? The jQuery for the stars etc were attained from the link below:http://orkans-tmp.22web.net/star_rating/index.html#demos=&main-menu=0&demo-tabs=3 Here is my code:.ASPX:<%@ Page Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Admin/Admin.master" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="Test.aspx.cs" Inherits="Admin_Test" Title="Untitled Page" %> <%@ Register Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" TagPrefix="asp" %> <asp:Content ID="Content1" ContentPlaceHolderID="CPCHeader" Runat="Server"> </asp:Content> <asp:Content ID="Content2" ContentPlaceHolderID="AdminCPC" Runat="Server"> <asp:R

Hello!I want to develop web page on which most of the things happens on clientside. The page contains several tabs (jQuery). One tabbed section have repeater which load when item in dropdown is selected.I've placed this 2 controls in UpdatePanel. Get ID from a select within a repeater control

Hi

In the past, I've created a GridView where users can click a linkButton control to fire a select command, and in the code behind, I had some code to work out what row had been selected.

Is the same possible using a repeater control? Some example C# code would really help.

Many thanks
