css inside tabpanel not used?

Posted By:      Posted Date: May 22, 2011    Points: 0   Category :ASP.Net

I have a webpage that consisted of 2 different functions. I used a tabcontainer with 2 tabpages to place each of the functions in a seperate tabpage.

What I experience now is that the CSS, that was perfectly well before the change, is not applied on the tabpages. Links are shown as 'normal' links, instead of using the font I applied in the css file

Is this something I had to expect when making this change? If so, can someone point me to more information about how to solve this? I am pretty new to programming for the web.

Thank you in advance!

Ajax Tab: Each TabPanel with different Color

I have situation like, Each tab panel should display with different colors based on the status. Example:

Completed tabs should display in "Green"

Inprogress status tabs should display in "Red"

Not eligible status tabs should display in "Gray".

Ajax Tab look and feel is very good. So, thought of using the Ajax Tab for my above requirement. I tried to change it. But I am not able to change the color of the each tab.

Is it possible to change the color of each tab in Ajax Tab control? Pleas help me.

If not possible, please suggest any other tab controls to achieve above my requirement.

Note:I already tried with IE tab controls, since it provides me that flexibility to change the color of the each tab. But, It is crashing my browswer. I am not sure about the reason.

I tried Jquery option, since I need to change the tab status dynamically based on the selection made in that same page, I am not able to achieve this one in the JQuery.

Using a GenericHandler as a WebResource inside a Class Library

I hope this is the right place to ask this question.

I'm trying to make a control class library. I want to have a GenericHandler as a WebResource so I could call it from the web project that will use that control.

I need this handler will get parameters from the query string and return JSON data acourding to what it get in the QS.

I know how to create JS and images WebResources, so I tried the same on a generic handler I added to the class library project but all it does is return the source of the handler file and not the result.

Is what I'm trying to do possible? If so, what should I do?

Thank :-)
