I'm very new to SSAS, and was hoping someone can help with this probably very simple question.
I have two dimensions on my cube, [I G] and [SBU], and I have a measure [Transaction Amount - Ledger]. In my transactional database each transaction amount has an IG value and also an SBU value.
For my new calculated measure, I want [Transaction Amount - Ledger] only where [I G] = [SBU]. Does that make sense? And if so, what would it look like in MDX? :-)
Below is the latest thing I have tried, after many other botched attempts, but still I am not getting the result I expect:-
CREATE MEMBER CURRENTCUBE.[MEASURES].[SBU Amount - Ledger]
AS IIF([I G].[I G].CurrentMember = [SBU].[SBU].CurrentMember,
0, [MEASURES].[SBU Amount - Ledger] ),
VISIBLE = 1;
Any advice would be hugely appreciated.
