I'm trying to import data into SQL Server from a Paradox Database table. It doesn't appear to display all of the rows in the table as when I preform a count on the number of rows in the table I'm receiving 30073. But when I preform a select
on the table I'm only getting 13657. I don't believe the 13657 to be correct as I'm unable to find a number of companies that should be listed in this file. Any idea of what could be causing this?
I attempted to query the data using an OPENROWSET query which had the same results using the following query:
'paradox 5.x;database=\\linked-server\VirtualFolder\Data\', MyTable)
It seems that linking the table to Microsoft Access yields similar results. The linked table shows 13657 rows but when I had left the table open for a period of time while I worked on something else, the number of rows showed to be 30073 but then switched
back after attempting to filter/sort the data for the missing companies.
Thank you for your help.
