Until now, such processes were very difficult to automate, but with the introduction of Human Workflow Services in BizTalk Server 2004, this class of workflow automation is a very real possibility. SharePoint 2007 Sequential Workflow in Visual Studio

I've got a problem of creating Sharepoint 2007 Sequential Workflow via Visual Studio 2008.

I have a Visual Studio 2008 on my machine which is not the server machine (Window XP) and a server which has SharePoint Server. I had been assigned task to work on Sharepoint Workflow. So, I have decided to create a project on my Visual Studio 2008, Sharepoint 2007 Sequential Workflow. But, I got the problem down here which blocked me.

"32-bit version of SharePoint Server is not installed. Please install a 32-bit version of SharePoint Server"

and following error in other system:

"Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SharePoint, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' or one of its dependencies"

- I am also not allowed to install Visual Studio 2008 on the server.

- I could not install Sharepoint Service 3.0 or SharePoint Server on my machine.

I hope you some body could help me with this matter.

how to send emails to multiple persons at the same time from sharepoint workflow using visual studio

Hi Every one !!

I am trying to send copy of a document for multiple directors at my client for their approval.

The director can approve the document at the same time.

Hence, I would like to know how to create a task to send emails for multiple people at the same time from a sharepoint workflow using visual studio 2008.

I see there is a parallel activity. But it gives me only 2 paths ( means would be able to send only for 2 users )

If creating a separate task to send emails for each user is an inefficient way, please let me know if there is another good way of sending emails to multiple users.

Thank you

Error 6 Error occurred in deployment step 'Activate Features': Feature with Id 'c34364d9-0323-4e46-98c1-d74f638e6c7d' is not installed in this farm, and cannot be added to this scope.

i'm pretty sure that the Guids are the same ... and i got the same error when i tried to activate the feature from VS 2010 directly

here is my feature xml (inside VS 2010)

Workflow Compilation in Visual Studio 2010

As I understand it, when visual studio 'compiles' a workflow what this really means is that it creates a stub class with the necessary properties on and it creates the XAML file as a resource and it then creates some static methods for loading and compiling this resource at runtime.

My question based on this is how do I truly compile it? So that it is compiled into IL as if I had written the workflow in code? Instead of embedding the XAML as a resource and compiling at run time?
