I am trying to install sharepoint server 2007 on windows server 2008 r2,I downloaded the version of sharepoint that contains service pack2,after the installation finished,message displayed that mssql\officeservers cant be found?
Must I install sql server 208 before installing sharepoint,is sql express that is already installed with sharepoint 2007 not compatible with windows server 2008 r2
I am facing issue in configuring SQL Reporting 2008 R2 With SharePoint 2007, my enviorment details is i have already MOSS Farm and i create new SQL Server 2008 R2 for reporting services. When i brows my reporting server URL its gives me error
my question is how to join my Reporting server with existing MOSS server?
Note: My SharePoint environment is consist of 2 Web Front End Servers and 1 Indexing Server.
I have a serious problem that cannot be solved by googling around the keywords below: sharepoint, moss 2007, reporting service, ssrs 2008, rendering, internal server error, ....
The error is;
"An error occurred during client rendering. The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. "
Everything is O.K.;
* When I render the report from the REPORTSERVER (http://localhost/ReportServer) * When the reports are scheduled to be sent by the reporting service (planned via MOSS 2007)ÃÂ
But if I open (render) the RDL file from the sharepoint REPORTS LIBRARY interface, all of the reports fail with that internal error message above.ÃÂ
It is weird also that parametrized reports are displayed without errors although the parameters are queried from a sql dataset. But I got the error when rendering the report after I've chosen a parameterÃÂ and order "apply/report"...
Possible causes how I met that error may be;
After I have installed (then uninstalled) AJAX extensions After I have re-configured IIS Web Service Extensions list items
Possible solution alternatives I've found;
I've found a solution on MSDN replying a similar issue with an ideal cause of the error but an evreka answer but no sol
how to deploy a workflow design in SharePoint Designer 2007 in a list from development server to production server.
i create a workflow in a list with SPD 2007 . I want to deploy it to production server who i can do this.
I hope someone may shed some light on a serious obstacle encountered on a client site:
We have implemented a SharePoint integrated report services solution for the client on a single server
Server = Windows 2003
SQL = 2008
Web application = servername:8888 (default) - windows auth
Web application extension 1 servername:8889 (extranet) forms auth
Web application extension 2 servername:8887 (intranet) forms auth
Reports are visible and can be run (renders) on internal sites
However, there is an external site which allows users to access the reports - the issue is, the reports then dont run and I get this:
"An unexpected error occurred while connecting to the report server. Verify that the report server is available and configured for SharePoint integrated mode."
Though I have not actually seen the firewall config of the AAM, the client assures me it has been setup properly.
If the AAM is setup correctly, what could be the problem? The server is clearly available and confgured in SharePoint integrated mode.
has anyone experienced the scenario where clients want to publish their reports on an external site? What can one do to see any errors other than the one line message (tried enabling custom errors, but no good)
