Hi can somebody help please.

I am using Sharepoint Foundation 2010 and I need to use the "navigate function" that you use to have in MOSS 2007.

Basically I want to be able to move lists between different sub headers on the quick launch bar. In MOSS 2007 I use to be able to go into manage site settings and choos "navigate and then move the lists up and down between the sub headers that i created on the quick launch bar.

Anyone got any ideas

How to add a custom action (a link) to Central Administration quick launch in sharepoint 2010 ?

Hello everyone,
How can I add a link to Central administration quick launch? There are several links in Central administration quick launch by default under "Central administration" text ("System settings", "Monitoring", "Backup and Restore", "Security", "Upgrade and Migration", "General Application Settings", "Application Management", "Configuration Wizards"). How can I add new link under "Configuration Wizards". And I tried  but it doesn't work. A link appeared on the Central administration page but it isn't displayed at the quick launch (left panel) .
I did that as follows:

----elements.xml----

<Elements xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/">
  <CustomActionGroup
       Id="CA_TestQuickLink"
       Location="Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.Default"
       Title="Test Menu Quick Link"
       Sequence="250"
       RequiredAdmin="Delegated"
       ImageUrl="myImage.gif">
    <UrlAction

Sharepoint 2010 Search Results crawling content on Quick Launch

I have a custom search scope defined for a site.  When I search, it is returning results for text that it is finding on the quick launch menu.  (For example, if the listname 'Tickets' is on the Quick Launch and the user searches for 'Tickets', all of the pages in the site get returned because the word 'Tickets' is on the Quick Launch)

Is this correct?  Is there any way to override that?

adding levels of flyouts to sharepoint 2010 Quick Launch

Hi,

I have Sharepoint Enterprise RTM Trial on Windows Server 2008 SP2.

I have a team site in which i have a flyout Quick Launch menu as describe in technet discussion . I just wanted to add a level 2 (sub level of a level) in Quick launch, for example:

Heading > Sub heading > Link 1

                                   > Link 2

I have tried it from Site settings > Navigation page but i have found that a heading cannot be created in a heading i.e, sub heading is not allowed....

Is it possible to achieve this task without writing code ?

thanks.
