Hey All,

I've created a custom list with several fields in it. including some of the Managed Metadata columns.

When I edited the form in Infopath i came to know that Infopath forms doesn't support Managed Metadata Columns. I searched and I found an alternate way to use TaxonomyServices.

But I don't know how to create it and use it to display the Metadata Columns in form and to put the data from the term set in them.....

Please help me.

Thanks & Regards

is TaxonomyClientService.aspx is half baked afterthought?

1. To start there are two methods missing from WSDL: TaxonomyClientService.asmx - supported operations?

2. There should be a web method to return (termstore, termsets) ID's : How to get TermStore ID for use with TaxonomyClientService

3. Methods, that are there, half working, example  "GetTermsByLabel"

string termSetIds = "<termSetId>aa54497e-f242-450b-a832-f75a0effbbd5</termSetId>";
client.GetTermsByLabelAsync("Netw", 1033, TaxonomyService.StringMatchOption.StartsWith, 1, termSetIds, false);

Not only method above returns more than 1 TermSet (resultCollectionSize ) back, but it also returns terms from "System" Group, ignoring termSetIds.

4. AddTerms method just doesnt work at all. It returns null, but doesnt add anything to the TermSet:

client.AddTermsAsync(new Guid("267df157-c414-4f83-b7ca-47d43a4e5d62"), new Guid("aa54497e-f242-450b-a832-f75a0effbbd5"),
1033, "<newItems><newItem label=\"ANew
