I have a webpart in place which has a function that utilizes SPUtility.Sendmail method to send an email to the recipient.
SPUtility.SendEmail(SPContext.Current.Web, false, false, pAlias, subject, body);
I have provided smtp server in the IIS hosting the sharepoint site and configured authentication settings to 'Windows'
However when I run the webpart, it doesn’t send an email. It doesn’t error out either.
