Unable to delete groups in SharePoint Foundation 2010

I have a test group I created in SharePoint that I want to delete (I'm the only user in the group). In the "People and Groups: All Groups" screen I click the edit icon next to the group and then click on the "Delete" button and ok the following warning dialog. However, the group doesn't get deleted. Any idea why this is happening and how to finally delete this group? Thanks.

Default Calendar modification, unable to delete fields

Hello. I'm new to Sharepoint Foundations 2010 (i've used Sharepoint Portal Server2007 and all the prior versions). I would like to use the default calendar as a template but cannot delete the fields I do not want to use. What are the steps to remove the fields (Something involving the Event Content Type) I do not wish to use? I've tried deleting the content type but cannot (I get the following error: The last content type on a list cannot be deleted.Troubleshoot issues with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation. Correlation ID: bcb50019-5830-42f3-bde6-9b0353b803e1 Date and Time: 10/4/2010 2:24:05 PM ). If I could create a new calendar with only the fields i need that has the current view in it that would be great. I cannot seem to get a new view to mimic the current view from the calendar webpart. any ideas could be greatly appreciated.

Sharepoint 2010 - Stuck Programmatically Adding a SharePoint Calendar Entry because of type "Person

How obscure is my question? I've had 40 reads without responses. Makes me feel better that I couldn't figure it out :-)

Programmatically Adding a SharePoint Calendar Entry

That is my goal and I am close. I am new to SharePoint and I am using the new approach with DataServiceContext.

Everything works except for adding "Person or Group" types. Can't find any good notes on this.

Unable to connect any list or calendar to Outlook in SP 2010

I am completely unable to use the Connect to Outlook option on any list inside my SharePoint Foundation installation - the button is present, but remains greyed out and non-functional.

I have confirmed the following:

- The server is using AD and is set up correctly

- SMTP is set up for outgoing mail

- All features available have been activated

- There are no restrictions for the creation of local pst files on my system

- I am running Outlook 2010, 64bit

- The user being used is in an owners group for the site collection and the site, but I've also added direct permissions for the user for all possible permission sets

- I am able to use the Excel services, Visio and Project connections, but not Outlook

- I am using a standard, unaltered task list and calendar, neither of which will permit connection

- I am using IE8

Since the button is greyed out, I'm not even able to get an error message that might tell me something additional.

I've been searching for a while, to no avail - what am I missing?

Thanks,

Adam

Add "New Calendar" to the site actions menu in SharePoint 2010

I really like how SharePoint 2010 uses Silverlight to allow users to create a new Document Library from the Site Actions menu. I would like to alter the v4.master page and add a new menu item to the Site Actions menu that allows the user to create a new Calendar. How do I alter the code below to make a new menu item that will create an events list? <SharePoint:MenuItemTemplate runat="server" id="MenuItem_CreateDocLib" Text="<%$Resources:wss,siteactions_createdoclib%>" Description="<%$Resources:wss,siteactions_createdoclibdesc%>" ImageUrl="/_layouts/images/NewDocLibHH.png" MenuGroupId="200" Sequence="220" UseShortId="true" ClientOnClickScriptContainingPrefixedUrl="if (LaunchCreateHandler('DocLib')) { GoToPage('~site/_layouts/new.aspx?FeatureId={00bfea71-e717-4e80-aa17-d0c71b360101}&ListTemplate=101') }" PermissionsString="ManageLists" PermissionMode="Any" VisibilityFeatureId="00BFEA71-E717-4E80-AA17-D0C71B360101" />

SharePoint 2010 Calendar Webpart not showing overlays

I have made 4 overlays on one calendar and I figured I could add that calendar webpart to the homepage and it would show all the overlays, but it isn't doing that. Is there a way to show all the overlay calendars in the calendar webpart? Thanks!

Calendar Overlays and Exchange 2010

I'm trying to setup a Calendar Overlay with Exchange on my project calendar. I can browse the OWA URL and the Exchange Web Service (.asmx) in Internet Explorer without any errors. Both URLs use https and are third-party signed. After I inupt the URLs into the Overlay config screen and save, Sharepoint attents to retrieve the calendar information and throws the follows error: "Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel with authority" on the calendar screen. Any ideas?

VWD 2010 Express (and all VS 2010 Express) "Unable to attach debugger."

I have a problem similar to the one described here: http://forums.asp.net/p/1200680/2103206.aspx - but that was about VS 2008 RTM, and also a different error message. When I go to debug anything using any of the VS 2010 Express apps (under WinXP SP3 x86 with .NET 2 SP1, 3.0 SP1, 3.5 SP1, and 4.0 installed), I get an error alert box showing:"Unable to attach. The debugger is not properly installed. Cannot debug the requested type of code. Run setup to install or repair the debugger."I did a Repair on VWD 2010 Express, then another on .NET 3.5 (which includes .NET 2.0 SP1 and .NET 3.0 SP1), to no avail. From reading in other forums, I read advice on running the Debugger Diagnostics, which I did. It seemed to show no errors (all Return Codes were eight zeroes each).I also saw advice on running "regsvr32.exe" on the "mscordbi.dll" file found in my .NET 2 Framework folder (%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v.2.0.50727), and on a file in the V7DEBUG folder, which I did. The latter worked fine, but the former gives this alert:"mscordbi.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. | This file cannot be registered."In the thread I linked to, greggm suggested using FileVer (found on Windows 2000 and up CD-ROMs by installing the Support Tools) on the contents of the V7DEBUG folder. I did it to both that and the .NET Framework 2 folder as well, and re-directe
