What is FT_Handle?

Posted By:      Posted Date: August 28, 2010    Points: 0   Category :.NET Framework

I have written a progam in BBC BASIC which works as required.I believe I need to use "SYS" commands within this program to be able to send ASCII codes through USB to a UDIN8-R device (from Audon) to control light switches ON/OFF. I am pretty adept with BBC BASIC but no knowledge at all about "proper" language code. ALL I want to do is send ASCII codes but it seems this is a mammoth task to program directly. The device works using suppied program. What the devil is FT_HANDLE? Everyone talks about it but nobody says what it actually is.  How do I find out, please? One of the commands I need to use is:- SYS `FT_OpenBySerialNumber`, FT_Serial_Number%, 1, ^FT_Handle% TO FT_Status% I presume the serial number is on unit but what about the rest? Where do I find FT_HANDLE? Thanks, The Cash.
