I am working on a Uni project and have created an ASP.Net (VB.net) 2010 website. I used the build-in website template which comes with home and About pages. This template also has login pages built-in. I tried using the login and it let's you create your own login and then use that login. My questions are:
1. I don't want the user to be able to create their own login and password and then use this information. I rather create this myself as the system admin and provide it to the users.
2. All my pages are 'unlocked'. How do I lock them so that a login is required before users are able to see any of the pages? In other means, first page shold be the login page and then once user has logged in, they can select anything from the menu bar. I am almost done with the project and this is the last thing left to do. All my aspx files are directly in the project folder. Built-in login pages are in the Account folder (created by the initial setup).
This is my first project so if I am doing something wrong, please let me know.
Thank you for any help.
