OK, yes I know I am doing something wrong so please tell me what it is.....
I used the import wizard to create a new database and imported several tables. I then altered some of those tables in VB Express (using the GUI tools) and yes I played around seraching the database in VB Express. I could open and close connections, shutdow
the program and bring it back up, everything was rosy.
Then I went to SSMS (Enterprise) and tried to connect to the database and got an error similar to:
"One or more files do not match the primary file of the database. If you are attempting to attach a database<c/> retry the operation with the correct files. If this is an existing database<c/> the file may be corrupted and should be restored
from a backup."
So I closed SSMS and went back to VB Express and tried to connect and it will no longer connect either.
I don't really mind rebuilding the database, but I have done this several times - once it got corrupted just by using the import wizard. I really want to be able to administer the database with SSMS after I finish the program......
What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?
