I'm desperately trying to add the Issue ID to the alert email that is sent when a list item is assigned to you. I have looked around and followed many tutorials online, however none of my changes have had any effect. So far I have done:
However even after doing that the email sent when an item is assigned is just the basic default! I've just tried to add the ID to the most simple section of the email (footer) however nothing seems to change the email alert.
I've followed guides such as:
List can't send alert email the list can't send alert email successfully when filled in the assigned value with a user. the out-going email configuration is right in central administration.
the strange thing is If I create a new list, its can send mail successfully just one day, and stopped to work later.
anybody can help me?Qiqing

In today's security-conscious environments, a reliable audit trail is a valuable forensic tool The Windows Server 2003 operating system provides features that let you enable a wide range of applications to make use of auditing functionality. This article looks at auditing from the operating system perspective and describes a sample managed code implementation that will allow you to add auditing to your own server applications.

When a view is shown, base on a simple conition in the model (Model.RenewalDate < DateTime.Today), I need to pop up an alert box saying 'Membership renewal is overdue'. There's no process required beyond that. Just a simply popup information box, then continue as normal.
I know the java to create an alert, or I could use the jquery modal, not bothered, but I can't work out the code in the view (yeah, I know logic doesn't belong in a view, but this really is a view concern as there's no functionality required beyond the message).
Something strange is happening here. I have a list whose itens alerts are not sending, but iclusion or permissions alerts for the same list are ok.
The strange is: I search for a fix, then I restarted the Windons Sharepoint services Timer, reset the alerts by stsadm tool (stsadm -o setproperty). the timer job status is ok too. and I just receive this error for this list, ONLY for this
list...the other list I can receive the e-mails normally.
Can someone help me?
