Multiple crossjoined measure selection without ambiguity

Posted By:      Posted Date: April 10, 2011    Points: 0   Category :

Hi All,

I would like to create a query which returns varios cross-joined measures, like:

{[Date].[Jan],[Date].[Feb],[Date].[Mar]}*[Options].[Option3]*[Measures].[Month] ON COLUMNS,

[Product].[Product] ON ROWS

FROM [Cube]

without creating claculated members/measures.

Is this possible without receiving the error: statement dialect could not be resolved due to ambiguity?

ASP.NET Multiple Selection DropDownList with AJAX HoverMenuExtender

Recently, I was looking for a multiple selection dropdownlist control for my new project. After spending some time researching for it, I decided to put together all my finding in one web user control. This web user control consists of an ASP.NET AJAX HoverMenuExtender, JavaScript, StyleSheet and CheckBoxListExCtrl . The final product will work with or without a MasterPage and you can drag and drop more than one instances of the control on to the page.

Multiple Selection Check box 2010

I am using a multiple selection checkbox that gets it's contents from a list that I have manually entered in the properties of the box. I have promoted the field add it appears in the library as a column. However, when I select a box (one or multiple for that matter) it does not appear in the field. I had added the field to the view to see the entry and it is blank.

WPF Datagrid with multiple row selection/checkbox column template

Hello, I am using the WPF Toolkit Datagrid with a checkbox defined in a template column/template cell. We are using the checkbox template so that selecting the checkbox will also highlight the row in the datagrid. Here is the template definition: <dg:DataGridTemplateColumn MinWidth="50" Width="Auto" Header="" CanUserReorder="False"> <dg:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> <DataTemplate> <CheckBox IsChecked="{Binding Path=IsCheckedm, Mode=TwoWay}" /> </DataTemplate> </dg:DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate> </dg:DataGridTemplateColumn> We are allowing multiple row selection in the datagrid and using MVVM (using MVVM Light). We would like to keep a list in the View Model of selected rows as they are selected/unselected. Any suggestions on how we can leverage MVVM to keep the list of selected/unselected elements current. Many Thanks --Sam

Multiple selection in connected list view webpart

Hi all, I have a webpart page with 2 listview webparts connected via  ("Send Row of Data"/"Get filter values from"). This connection permits me to select one row on the first listview (parent) and the second (child) gets filtered by the defined filter column. My question is how can I choose multiple rows on the parent so I can filter the rows of the child with multiple filter values? It seems on can only select one row via the "Select" column... Is there a workaround... Many thanks,

Multiple Listbox Selection not working :(

I'm loading a ListBox this way, which works and shows the selected items: lstCollectionsType.SelectedValuePath = "ClientCollectionTypeID"; lstCollectionsType.DisplayMemberPath = "ClientCollectionType1"; lstCollectionsType.ItemsSource = MyClient.ClientCollectionTypes; foreach (ClientCollectionType item in MyClient.ClientCollectionTypes) { if ((bool)item.Selected) lstCollectionsType.SelectedItems.Add(item); } And when trying to save the data, I do it as shown below. But it's not getting the current selected data. It's showing the data of how it was loaded. Make sense? It's not changing what is selected. foreach (ClientCollectionType i in lstCollectionsType.Items) { if (i != null) { ClientCollectionType boo = MyClient.ClientCollectionTypes.SingleOrDefault(c => c.ClientCollectionTypeID == i.ClientCollectionTypeID); if ((bool)i.Selected) boo.Selected = true; else boo.Selected = false; } } Please help! Thank you so much for your time!

Multiple selection of items

I've pretty much created a custom itemscontrol and put in there some of my custom objects which are set up to look like rectangles which can vary in size. At this point, I am stuck on understanding how I would select multiple of these items within my collection of items or if this even possible. I keep on searching but I get no results. Btw, my rectangles are setup in a grid fashion which would span the size of a picture in the background.

Calculated measure that works across multiple hierarchies

Dear all,

I need to create a calculated measure for YTD that dynamically calculates based on the date hierarchy selected by the user (SSRS & Excel).

On the date dimension, I have 2 hierarchies "Year-Month-Day" and "Year-Week-Day", that both share the year and day attributes.

What's the best way to go about this?

Many thanks,

If ListView1.SelectedItems.Count > 0 Then
  For i As Integer = ListView1.SelectedItems.Count - 1 To 0 Step -1
End If

When I select items and click Delete button nothing was deleted. How fix and get multiple delete items from ListView.

How to improve the performance of multiple selection field in Infopath 2010 ?

Hi Infopath experts

I am developing an infopath form that has 4 big multiple selection fields (each field has more than 50 choices). Each time the users select a choice from the muiti-selection field, the form takes a lot of time to response. This only happened with IEs (I am using IE8 now). When I tried it with other browsers (firefox, chrome, safari), the performance increased drastically.

I have seen other people saying that IE has issues with Infopath and IE9 might solve the issues. However, our company won't upgrade to IE9 anytime soon. If anyone has workarounds for this issue, please help me with it

Thank you,

code SQL to retrieve records from multiple random selection list box

Having problems coding a query.

Got a list box that allows for multiple selections (holding down the control key) the selection quantity is basically unlimited, but should never be more than 50 to 100 items from the listing of about 3000 items.

How can I code the SQL statement to select the choosen record data? I think I have the selection list worked out by populating an array but I am not clear on how to build the SQL query.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks again

Display "allow multiple selection" column data as multiple items

I have a list that contains secretary assignments. There is only 2 columns. The secretary column is person/group lookup column and the attorneys column is also a person/group lookup column but "allow multiple selections". Here is a sample of item:

Secretary: Lisa White

Attorney: Joe Smith; John Fox; Michael Wrox.

I would like to create a view that display as

Attorney            Secretary

Joe Smith          Lisa White

John Fox           Lisa While

Michael Wrox    Lisa While

I know the out of box view will not let me do that . I just wonder if there is a work-around solution. Many thanks.

InfoPath2007: How to reference the position of an element included on a Multiple Selection List Box

Hi all,

I am developing a infopath form to generate expense sheets.
The form consists of a Repeating Table with DropDownListBox and two text fields, one for the description of expenditure and another for the amount of expenditure.

The expenses are organized by categories, these categories are included in the DropDownListBox and values of these categories are picked by a SQL query.

The idea of the form is showing the total expenditure, and sub-totals for each category, but when I filter the data to a text field that displays only the cost of the "category1", not as reference to DropDownListBox elements.

You can see a pic of the example in:

Thank you very much !

How can I get a list of selected items from a multiple-selection box in Infopath 2007

I have an Infopath 2007 form with a multiple-selection box.  The form has a receive data connection to a Sharepoint custom list which shows software available to staff.  The form allows the user to select any number of items from the list of software.  I want to be able to show a summary list and more importantly print a summary of just the items from the list that were selected.  I want to be able to hand my IT person a list of the software that user needs installed.   I am trying to figure out how to get this summary list so it can be printed out.  Any help would be appreciated.
