I have created a report with all the fields from a share-point list. The report is fine. Now I have to do a wild-card search in that.
I have to create a text-box where a user enters any text, and when he clicks "view report" the report table should display all the rows with all the occurrence of that keyword entered on that textbox.
Dataset I used is
<Method Namespace="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/soap/" Name="GetListItems">
How to achieve this. Any suggestions
The report will be like this
No Name Department
1 John Finance
2 David IT
3 Thomas Consulting
4 Smith Legal
For eg. if I type 'a' in the text-box, it should display all the rows that has 'a'. The output would be
1 John Fina nce
2 Da vid IT
I've never been good with Regex, but I'm sure this can be done. I'm basically trying to regex to avoid using two Replace methods on a string. For example, how would I replace a and b in a string with a space using regex in C#? Or how would I convert this line?
myString.Replace("a", " ").Replace("b", " ");
how i can search all the names that contains hypen ?
I want to import multiple text files into a destination file. This works fine when I point the connection manager directly to the 3 files that I need to import. However, these 3 files will change and sometimes there may be more or less files. Therefore
I planned to use a wildcard (*). However, when I use a wildcard in the connection manager I
get unexpected results - some of the records get duplicated in the output. I have demonstrated this issue in this
short video clip. Apologies for
the slight buzz / hum on the audio (you can just turn the audio off).
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
