I am trying to use TaskDialog from WindowsAPICodePack. The demon runs just fine, but when I try to use TaskDialog in my application I get this error:
TaskDialog feature needs to load version 6 of comctl32.dll but a different version is current loaded in memory.
I have googled the error a bit and found out that one could set the version of Common Controls using the manifest file. So I first copied the manifest from the TaskDialog Sample and selected to use it in application settings. Didn't work.
I tried to choose to embed my own manifest and went inside it and uncommented the Common Controls dependency part. Didn't work.
I'm lost. Is there a way to debug/check which version of comctl32.dll that is loaded?
Any suggestions on how to continue?
Windows: 7 Ultimate 32-bit
Visual Studio: Professional 2010
.NET: v4 Client Profile
(WPF application if that changes anything)
