I want to upgrade to 4.0? I do not, as we are using 2.0. How does Visual Studio 2010 determine which version I have installed. In my registry under local machine/software I have Net Framework Setup which has folders for v1.1.4322, v2.0.50727,
v3.0 , v3.5 and now v4 since installing VS2010. I am running XP sp3 for my OS.
I have uninstalled Visual Studio 2010 and uninstalled .Net Framework 4, 3.5, 3, 2.. reinstalled 2.0, 3, 3.5 Visual Studio 2010 (which installs 4.0) with same result.
