Send file as an email in work flow

My company works out of a SharePoint doc library to process orders.  Sometimes the orders need to be sent to another department.  The other departments need the files emailed to them. I only have access to SPD-07 - I would like to create a workflow something like:  If department = techservices, email file to techservices@email.com then delete the item.

Is this possible?

The other departments have SharePoint sites, but they are not in other sites (they are top level sites in the root as our dept is). I had thought if i could copy and move, but this is not an option unless it is in the same site.

Any help much appreciated!

PGP DOS command to Decrypt a file does not work. I've Licenced copy of PGP software

We recieve our clients Data files Encrpyted which we have to Decrypt to make it readable by our SSIS package.

I 've Licenced copy of PGP software on my system.
I'm automating the Data management process, the very initial process involve copying files from FTP (i.e XYZ.zip.pgp) to one of our sever.
I've to decrypt those pgp file into zip files and from zip files to original(Excel).

Then SSIS package execution starts and it starts filtering data by reading those files.

Right now we copy one by one from FTP, run Desktop PGP software , put PGP Key manually to Decrypt a file.

I got some idea from net to run PGP from command prompt
e.g.  pgp --decrypt<filename>  --output <filename> --passphrase <passphrase>

But whenever I try those command on DOS it says "pgp is not recognized as internal command or file"
Why DOS does not recognize pgp command even though I've Licenced copy of PGP software?

Once DOS commad works I've plans to run it from my asp.net C# code. If you've better solution please let me know.

How can you load a .wsp file and work on it?

In SP2007, with we could create and work with .wsp files in VS.Net 2008 using the wsp builder add-in.

In 2010, if we save a site template, it creates a .wsp file, however I can't see .wsp in the file extensions available for VS.Net 2010.

So - how can I work on one of these saved .wsp files, in VS.Net 2010?

File Splitter in .Net

I love to do utility programs in .Net. And this is one of them. As I was playing with JSplit (a free file splitter program), I wondered if I could do it in .Net. The framework supports file operations like reading files in bytes and creating them. It is indeed easy to do file operations in .Net Basics on File operations

Upload a File to a SharePoint Document Library - Part I

The following helper class demonstrates a few techniques that allow documents to be uploaded to a SharePoint document library programmatically without using the API or a custom web service. You don't need to specify a document library name, and it will create any folders specified in the URL as required. File meta data will be updated if any properties are passed.

SmtpClient and Locked File Attachments

Got a note a couple of days ago from a client using one of my generic routines that wraps SmtpClient. Apparently whenever a file has been attached to a message and emailed with SmtpClient the file remains locked after the message has been sent. Oddly this particular issue hasn't cropped up before for me although these routines are in use in a number of applications I've built.

ClientAccessPolicy file in SharePoint 2010

I am upgrading my Silverlight demo code from the old beta to beta 2 and see that there are a few new considerations for the deployment of ClientAccessPolicy.xml files. In a previous post I demonstrated how to do this for SharePoint 2007. The heartburn that I get with that approach is any site collection owner or designer can drag the file into the site collection and open the site up to unwanted client access issues. In 2010 the virtual path provider no longer serves the files from the root of the site collection

Import XML File to SQL Table

Here is a brief example of importing an XML file into SQL Server table. This is accomplished by using the BULK option of OPENROWSET to load the file, and then utilizing the XQuery capabilities of SQL Server to parse the XML to normalized table format. This example requires SQL server 2005 or SQL Server 2008.

First, the following XML is saved to XML file C:\Products.xml.
