Recognition MultiTouch of acts in handler ManipulationCompleted

Posted By:      Posted Date: April 10, 2011    Points: 0   Category :JQuery

There is a WPF-application in which it is necessary to gate out three MultiTouch the acts, realised over the viewed graphical document:

- Twirl to the left \to the right two fingers => turn to the left \to the right on 90 grades of page of the document;

- An information \cultivation of two fingers => scaling (magnification \reduction of sizes) document pages on the shield;

- Transition to the left \to the right a finger on level => passage to previous \following page of the document.

In Image component in which review of the graphical deed is carried out property IsManipulationEnabled, and secondly, at first, is switched on, event handlers ManipulationStarted, ManipulationDelta and ManipulationCompleted are installed. How to realise machining of input parametres of these methods to fathom what of three mentioned MultiTouch acts occured to be?

Basically for this purpose handler ManipulationCompleted at which input parametres there are parametres e, probably, suffices. TotalManipulation. Rotation, e. TotalManipulation. Scale. X, e. TotalManipulation. Scale. Y, e. TotalManipulation. Translation. X, e. TotalManipulation. Translation. Y. But these parametres can simultaneously be not equal to null. How on their values to fathom which act it has been realised by the user?

Creating Event Handler in Code behind

Hi, so I have a control that is created in the code behind and generates fine but I can't figure out how to create an event handler for it.  I've found plenty of examples for it in C sharp, but none of them seem to apply to VB.  What I want to do is essentially this:

myDropDownList.SelectedIndexChanged = "Event to do here"

but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Talking Windows: Exploring New Speech Recognition And Synthesis APIs In Windows Vista

Windows Vista includes a built-in speech recognition engine exposed through a number of new APIs that will let your users interact with your app using speech rather than a keyboard or mouse. Here Robert Brown explains speech recognition and introduces you to the APIs to use in your upcoming Windows Vista applications.

.Net with Microsoft Speech Recognition Engine

Just out of interest, is there any good resource out there for programming .NET Application with some voice command, using the Microsoft Speech Recognition Engine?

If I can just get to writing a simple application which takes in a speech for few seconds and return a word that will be good enough. Of course it might not be that easy.

Thanks in advance.

want to launch modal Popup from created User Event handler

I have a create user wizard on my page and in the event handler (Created User) I get extra information from the user

via textboxes within the aspx etc.

I then do a response.redirect to another page.

What I want to happen is this

When the CreatedUser Event is fired, I  want a Modal Popup to show up with a message Processing your registration.

once the registration code is processed it will close and the users get redirected.

On my ASPX I have the Modal PopUp and a Panel.

In the code behind in the handler I put ModalPop.show()

but this does not work.

thanks for any suggestions

Apparently missing something in my understanding of session handler...

 It was doing exactly what I expected until I added more than 1 property to it.   It seems if I set the value of a property this, in turn, sets every property in the handler to the same value.  It's blatantly obvious I didn't have the understanding I thought I did on this.  :-)

Could someone point out what I'm missing?  I figured it had something to do with the "shared" but if it's not shared then I would have to declare an instance on my page which would kinda ruin the state of my variables (otherwise, I'd just put them all in my class), right??

Private Shared _strStudentName As String
Private Shared _strSchoolID As String

    Public Shared Property StudentName() As String

            If (HttpContext.Current.Session(SessionHandler._strStudentName) Is Nothing) Then
                Return String.Empty
                Return HttpContext.Current.Session(SessionHandler._strStudentName).ToString()
            End If

        End Get

        Set(ByVal value As String)
            HttpContext.Current.Session(SessionHandler._strStudentName) = value
        End Set

    End Property

    Public Shared Property SchoolID() As String

Search Server Gatherer - Custom hierarchical protocol handler ISearchProtocol for MOSS 2010

Search server gatherer calls CloseAccessor() and shutdown() on ISearchProtocol after GetChunk() even if the FILTER_E_END_OF_CHUNKS is not returned. After calling shutdown() it stops calling the createaccessor() with new URL. I want to create a hierarchical indexing but I am not gatherer is not suporting this. The same piece of code is working fine in MOSS 2007, I am facing this issue in MOSS 2010 only. Is there anything changed in MOSS 2010 which is creating this issue?

Deleting items from the index (custom protocol handler)

I created a custom protocol handler. I successfully emit entries into the index. I just can't seem to delete them during an incremental crawl.

I tried:

1. no emitting child item during the enumeration of child entries in a folder
2. returning PRTH_E_OBJ_NOT_FOUND from CreateAccessorEx

doing either 1, 2, or both did nothing. The entries are still there.

what i need to do to delete these entries from the index during an incremental crawl?

InfoPath Workflow Task Form "Loading" event handler only being called after App Pool recycled.

I have a Workflow that is using an InfoPath task form.  In the "FormEvents_Loading" method event handler I have some code that needs to run each time the form is opened.   I recycle the App Pool and open the form the code runs perfectly, but if I close and try to re-open the form the code is not run at all.  I can then recycle the App Pool again and on the next load the code executes just fine.   The code that is supposed to be run is a very simple statement to set a field value, so I don't think it is interfering.

Does anyone know what this might be?

Event Handler Credentials

I made EH that checks out document when OOB Approval WF is finished successfully.

I want doc to be checked out by WF Initiator, but by default it is made by System Account.

How can i change Event Handler Account ?

Specific Error Handler for Area Controllers

I have an area named CMS on my MVC3 Preview 1 application.

Is it possible to have an error view inside the CMS area to display only errors that occurred on the controllers under the CMS area?

Basically I want the errors inside the area to be handled by a different controller than the errors on the "application root".

Pre_Init event handler problem

Hi all my friends

   I have to masterpages for my home page.

1. The first is for the annonymous users which has the login controls. its name is General_Anonymous.master.

2. The second one is for the logged in users which has a logout button and it hasn't the login controls in it. its name is General_LoggedIn.master.

in my default.aspx page I wrote the following code

protected void Page_PreInit(object sender, EventArgs e)
            if (Session["SupId"] == null && Session["CustomerId"] == null)
                this.MasterPageFile = "~/Masters/General_Anonymous.master";
                this.MasterPageFile = "~/Masters/General_LoggedIn.master";

System.AddIn, simultaneous multitouch interaction in multiple addins

Hello, I have built an application that is able to load several addins, each having their own process, each sending their own UI onto the application's UI. I now would like to enable simultaneous multitouch interaction in any of these AddIns' UIs. The problem is: when there is multitouch interaction ongoing in one of the addins' UI, the others do not seem to receive any event, even though I try to touch controls in them. My question is: is this even possible in the current form of the framework? Or does the input device (i.e. my touch screen) get somehow "captured" by the currently manipulated UI's process, thus preventing the others from getting any input at all? Antoine
