I'm new to SharePoint. This is my first SharePoint project. It's related to approval workflow and I'm having trouble with it.
1. I need a list object that can contain several items listed in it. For example, purchase request. The user submit a purchase request that contains several items, like: Print Paper, 5 boxes; Printer, 1; Workstation, 5; LCD, 5. Is there any list type that
can have a "list" in it? Or any idea on how I can store/present such information in a list? (maybe it's more like a table in a list).
2. After the request goes into approval workflow, we need the ability to partially approve the items in the initial request. For example, in the purchase request listed above, the approver only think the Workstation and LCD are necessary. So the approver
approve the Workstation and LCD and reject Printer and Print Paper. The approved items can go to next level approver and rejected items go back to the person who submitted the request. I see some posts about sending the Change Request, but our customer doesn't
want it since they don't want any rejected item hold the process of approved item.
I've been looking for the related information, but still don't have clue. If anyone can provide any suggestion, I really appreciate it! Thanks!!
