I have setup Discussions on SharePoint 2010 and users have linked these discussions to Outlook 2010. Permissions on the discussion board are setup such that every user is a contributor (i.e. they can post messages). On SharePoint, the permissions
seem to work properly; that is users can post messages and delete/modify their
own messages. However, within Outlook, users can delete anyone's
message. We just had an incident where a user deleted ALL messages in his Outlook SharePoint list and it deleted all messages from the SharePoint site too.
Is there a permission setting that I don't have set properly?
