Crawl Error - Error in the Site Data Web Service. (Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException'

Posted By:      Posted Date: April 10, 2011    Points: 0   Category :C#

I have a Sharepoint site that includes a WIki library.  Recently searches have stopped returning any hits from the Wiki pages.  (Search hits from documents and discussions are correctly returned.)  When I check the crawl log from Shared Services Admin site, I see the following error every time a crawl is performed:

http://cao.tfn.com/caopedia/wiki%20pages/forms/allpages.aspx

Error in the Site Data Web Service. (Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.)

The URL above is part of the Wiki library.  When I look at the raw Sharepoint logs, I see the following entries every time a crawl is performed:

An error occured during local report processing. Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' W

I've been getting this error, randomly when previewing two reports.

It does not seem to be based on report complexity, size, subreports etc. When
reports are deployed to server, they all run fine. I just get the out of memory error locally.

1. I have one version with 2 datasets, and a number of matrix, table and list data regions.
2. I have a second version with only one table data region.
3. There is no custom code, variables, prompts or generally anything other than basic
formatting in the report.
4. Both reports are based on the same SQL table.

I can seem to run the two reports (both based on same SQL table) a few times, and
then they start giving the out of memory error.

I can open other other reports and they preview fine locally.

What I've tried so far to no avail:

1. Deleted the downloaded data before refreshing the two reports.
2. Tried building the two reports before running.
3. Tried changing the process priority to high for devenv.exe.
4. Removed filters in the reports.
5. Changed the physical order of the underlying table.
6. Closed the reports and then re-opened them.
7. Close Visual Studio and Re-Open. This seems to work for a while and then the two
reports start giving the error messages again.
8. Cop

MSSCrawlURL table is filled ErrorID: 560 Error in the Site Data Web Service; Any ideas why?

Here is the SQL statement I ran:

Error in the Site Data Web Service. (The given key was not present in the dictionary.)

In my crawl logs, 2 specific document libraries within a site collection are not successfully crawled.  The error in the log is: Error in the Site Data Web Service. (The given key was not present in the dictionary.)  Note that these document libraries were being successfully crawled over the past 4 months.

I can't seem to find any information in the forums or on the net that tells me what this error means.  Does anyone have any experience with this error?

This environment is MOSS 2007 SP1, Windows Server 2003 SE SP2 32-bit WFEs (2 query, 1 index) and SQL Server 2005, Windows Server 2003 SE SP2 64-bit.

Business Data Error: System.OverFlowException

I have a Business Data Catalog file I've uploaded to connect to our back end Firebird DBMS through ODBC.

The SharePoint server is MOSS 2007 x64. The web front end server(s) all have an x64 Firebird Engine and ODBC driver with verified connectivity to Firebird.

When I use one of the methods, I can see connections being made to our Firebird server and the query being passed. I know the query returns results (it's a stored procedure with no parameters), but I get the following error "An error occurred while retrieving data from MROTest1. Administrators, see the server log for more information" in IE. If I look in the server logs, I see (12\Hive\Logs)

Exception handed to HandleRuntimeException.HandleException System.OverflowException: Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.     at System.Data.Odbc.OdbcDataReader.GetData(Int32 i, SQL_C sqlctype, Int32 cb, Int32& cbActualOut)

Error Build: Type or namespace could not be found, when referencing a web service

Hello, I'm new in writing C# application in Visual Studio 2008. I'm currently writing a web application for CRM 4.0 Reporting Service rendering. I reference my web application to our Reporting Service web service http://reportservername /ReportServer/ReportExecution2005.asmx and name it 'RSWebReference'. Then I want to reference it in my code: Using RSWebReference; Not sure why, but I cannot build my solution, saying "The type or namespace name 'RSWebReference' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)". I read this thread in http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/sqlreportingservices/thread/74f70e30-83e8-4817-b5e0-7729450730a1 that the website probably is using .net 1.1, and I should change it to .net 2.0. However, I think the website is already using 2.0. Is it probably because I'm using VS 2008? How can I tell and change if the website is using 1.1 or 2.0? Or could I be doing something wrong? Thanks in advanced for your help! -Elizabeth K.

Data Source View Gives incorrect Error--Different Data Type

Hi, I'm creating a report model (2008 R2).  I am trying to create a relationship between two tables.  One FKs to another--same name and type (tinyint) columns.  But the Data Source View editor doesn't allow this, giving the message "...source and destination column have different data types".  But the columns are the same types.  I ahd this once before  acouple of years ago and don't remember how I got around it. Does anyong have ideas?
