I'm attempting to create a series of document libraries dedicated to tracking meeting minutes in sharepoint (word documents) for which I have some special needs and I haven't found a good way of going about it.
Basically the setup is that when a new meeting occurs the user would open the most recent meeting minute document from the library, change the date and than update the document with the current meetings information. Upon saving the document the default
document name should be dynamicaly built for the new meeting. The name should use the currently selected date (tag).
The question is where to assign this function and how. In word their doesn't appear to be a way (using word 2010) to default the document title (filename) property based on a tag (the date).
How would I go about setting up a default file name for a document in a sharepoint library?
