Cannot add SQL Server 2008 R2 Report items to SharePoint Server 2010 document library

Using account which is the primary parent site administrator, can upload RDS and RDL files to the document library (however, cannot open report). User is also a domain admin with SA on the database instances. Cannot add Report Data Source with "New Document" icon. The permissions granted to user '[domain]\[user]' are insufficient for performing this operation. Under "Site Settings", "Managed Shared Schedules" fails with same error. Attempting to deploy from BIDS results in the same permissions error. Sharepoint Server 2010, Report Server 2008 R2. RS and SP databases hosted on remote server (SQL Server 2008 R2). All connections (SharePoint services, RS services, users) except SQLAgent authenticating to remote SQL Server with Kerberos (all SPNs look correct). Single site, site collection "/". Document directory called "Reports". Windows Integrated Security (Negotiate). How would I troubleshoot/solve problem?

Office 2010 can not integrate with Sharepoint Server 2010 document library, both RTM

Hi I have one standalone SharePoint Server 2010 and Office 2010 on Windows Server 2008 SP2. Both SharePoint and Office are RTM. When I create new document from the document library, it can open the Office Word.  When I save the document, Office gives me the local browser dialog other than remote sharepoint library. When I try to enter the sharepoint site url in the dialog, it tells me: path does not exist. On another machine, Windows 7, the Office 2010 RTM can open and save docs from/into the document library. There seems something wrong with the Office client. Maybe someone can tell me how to fix it. Thanks. Visual Studio 2010 can't find the Sharepoint Foundation 2010 Server when compiliing, Standalone vs

I'm wondering if we installed Visual Studio correctly cos when we get into Visual Studio 2010 the "Deploy as a Farm Solution" is the only available button option and the "Deploy as a Sandbox Solution" is un-selectable, grayed out, assuming the "Sandbox" solution is the "Standalone" approach? So when we go to compile a Workflow, the error message says the Sharepoint Server is not found" Could this "Deploy as Farm Solution" be a problem when we were instructed to install Sharepoint 2010 Foundation as a "Standalone" install? in other words we're trying to find out why when we go to compile a Workflow in Visual Studio 2010 that it can't find the Sharepoint Server Step 3: Install SharePoint 2010 1.  To install SharePoint Server 2010 or SharePoint Foundation 2010, open a Command Prompt window, and then type the following at the command prompt: On the Choose the installation you want page, click Standalone to install everything on one developer workstation. Thanks very much for any suggestions, ideas or pointers! BobK

Creating SOAP or REST Data Sources in SharePoint 2010 Designer while using Forefront Server

When I create a REST data source to access a sharepoint list, I have permission issues because of the Forefront sever in front of my SharePoint 2010 server.  I've tested in an environment without the Forefront server and it works as expected.

1.  Tested in browser and works fine againsted forefront server (https://myforefrontserver.com/site/sub/_vti_bin/ListData.svc/MyList)

2.  Added this to web.config

  <system.net>
    <defaultProxy>
      <proxy autoDetect="true" />
    </defaultProxy>
  </system.net>

3. Created Rest Data Source in SharePoinbt designer pointing to https://myforefrontserver.com/site/sub/_vti_bin/ListData.svc/MyList and tried all logon options with no sucess.
