I have a tinyint field in my table that is already populated and is used on a checkbox control in the webpage. I need for this value to be able to be changed and saved back to the MS Sql database but I am getting errors when I try to convert the boolean back to a tinyint. is there another way to populate (or check) the checkbox instead of boolean as I know that MS Sql doesn't have Boolean. I already have this information stored as a tinyint in the database
Here's how I am converting it:
SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand(Update ferns set Mickel='" + Convert.ToInt32(Mickel2) + '") where Partnumber ='" + Partnumber1 + '"", conn);
//in the webpages checkbox I am populating the checkbox like so:
Checked='<% Convert.ToBoolean(Eval("Mickel")) %>'
